Legg is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Angel of Death. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Legg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Chillingsworth controls Legg momentarily but Legg frees himself.
Legg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chillingsworth swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Legg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Legg avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chillingsworth throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Legg thows a big elbow that misses.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Darvin Chillingsworth.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gun has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gun and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Houzo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pierce swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Houzo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Maek Houzo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

BOOM! Houzo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The cut above Damon Pierce's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Houzo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Damon Pierce's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
