The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filho shoots for a double leg takedown but Casey sprawls well. He's pushed Filho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Filho throws a body kick that misses. Casey closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Filho's guard. Filho keeping full guard, as Casey tries to pass. Filho avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Filho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Casey loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Filho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Casey postures up and lands a big shot to Filho's brow. Casey is looking to work some ground and pound but Filho has wrist control. Filho trying to keep a closed guard but Casey is proving a slippery customer.

Filho's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Filho has cracked Casey with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Filho lands another huge swinging hook and Casey tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Casey, before Filho can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holiday tests Small's chin there with a solid looking shot. Holiday throws a right hand that Small ducks under and follows up with a left that Small also avoids with ease. Holiday closes the distance and lands a one-two. Small takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Holiday fails with a takedown attempt. Small tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Holiday manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Small pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holiday lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Holiday. Holiday fails with a takedown attempt. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Small works a leg free and moves into half guard. Holiday has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Small is working away from the top position though. Small tries to pass to full mount but Holiday defends it. Small stands up and beckons Holiday to join him on the feet. Small drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from Holiday does it's job there.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Decent striking displayed by Holiday there. Holiday lands with a straight right. Small didn't see that one coming. Small looks to throw the jab but Holiday is out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mr Small will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Holiday gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Holiday is looking to stand up but Small isn't so interested in that idea. Small chips away with some ground and pound. Holiday is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Small dives into side control.
Holiday manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Small is pressing down on Holiday's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Small is pulling down on Holiday's head. It's preventing any offense from Holiday, at least for the moment. Small escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holiday gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Small has his feet on Holiday's thighs here. He's pushed Holiday off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Holiday screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Peter prevents God from improving his position. Peter wants to pass the guard but God is defending well.

Coser throws an overhand right that lands on Schone's shoulder, as Schone tries to avoid the shot. Coser connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A punch combination from Coser misses. Schone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coser as he jumps to the side. Coser leaves Schone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Coser.

Schone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Coser did well to prevent Schone getting side control. Schone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coser keeps working. Coser on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Coser tries to get out of the position.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Lovell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Victor Bonifacio! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonifacio cracks Lovell with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lovell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonifacio tries to avoid it but Lovell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonifacio to the ground. Bonifacio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bonifacio lands a really nice looking cross but Lovell seems unphased.
Bonifacio jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bonifacio cracks Lovell with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bonifacio scores with a jab to the head.
Lovell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bonifacio connects with a body shot. A punch lands to the side of Lovell 's head but he takes it in his stride. Lovell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bonifacio swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Lovell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bonifacio blocks a jab. Lovell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bonifacio but Bonifacio pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bonifacio displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lovell. Bonifacio cracks Lovell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lovell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lovell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bonifacio sprawls well. Bonifacio wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lovell gets slowly back to his feet. Victor Bonifacio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lovell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonifacio scores with a sloppy right hand. Lovell should have avoided that one. Lovell gets a clinch. Bonifacio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bonifacio.
Bonifacio lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lovell at a distance.
Bonifacio lands an overhand right. Bonifacio sizes up Lovell with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bonifacio slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bonifacio scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lovell doesn't seem bothered though. Victor Bonifacio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bonifacio connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lovell's hands. Lovell wants to clinch. Bonifacio throws a shot to the body.
Bonifacio feints a jab promting Lovell to slip. Bonifacio then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lovell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lovell drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bonifacio jabs at Lovell's body. Bonifacio dips to his left and cracks Lovell with an uppercut! Lovell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lovell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lovell there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lovell is rocked! Bonifacio tests Lovell's chin there with a solid looking shot. Oh Lovell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bonifacio throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lovell on the side of the head. Lovell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bonifacio pinned against the cage. Bonifacio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bonifacio with a nice cross. Bonifacio lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bonifacio throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lovell colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bonifacio as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lovell is left battered and dazed whilst Bonifacio and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! PLanter forces Tecate back against the cage and clinches. Tecate has had enough of the clinch but PLanter keeps him there for the moment. Tecate blocks an uppercut.

Tecate is trying to break the clinch but PLanter is controlling him. Tecate drags the fight down to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Tecate pulls PLanter in close to his closed guard and prevents PLanter from doing any damage or advancing position. PLanter tries to stand but Tecate is controlling from the bottom. Tecate lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for PLanter! PLanter really wants to buck Tecate off and get back to his feet.

Tecate circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Tecate to counter with a crisp jab. Tecate tries for a takedown but PLanter sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - PLanter looks like he's thinking about clinching though. PLanter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. PLanter tries to close the distance and clinch but Tecate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. PLanter wants to clinch.

He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in PLanter's half guard. PLanter is trying to escape back to his feet but Tecate uses the scramble to pass into side control.
PLanter is looking to get back to his feet here but Tecate is keeping cool and he's managed to take PLanter's back. Tecate has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of PLanter's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. PLanter looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Tecate slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
PLanter wants to get back to his feet. Good control from Tecate. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sandro gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sandro swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bader Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Sandro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
