The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aata pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Aata clinches with his opponent.
Aata lands a knee to the head.
Khan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aata pulls him back up using the underhooks. Aata lands a good knee to the midsection. Khan won't want to take too many of those. Aata breaks from the clinch.
Aata throws a head kick that misses. Khan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aata has Khan up against the cage in a clinch.
Khan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Aata gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Aata manages to break the clinch.
Aata fails in his attempt to clinch. Aata tries to clinch but fails miserably and Khan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aata's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Khan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Aata dives on top into guard. Aata is looking to stand up but Khan won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aata can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Khan wants to sweep here but Aata controlling him for the moment. Aata really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Khan working for a triangle but Aata defends it easily.
Khan wants to get back to his feet but Aata is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aata is looking to stand up but Khan won't let him. Khan looking to control.
Khan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Khan is figuring out what he wants to do next. Khan wants to pass to mount but Aata is defending the position. Khan is trying to control the action in half guard but Aata is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan slows the pace down in half guard.
Amir Khan has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. A right-left combo lands from Aata. Robert Aata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Khan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Khan tries to control but Aata wriggling away. Khan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Aata can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aata bucks Khan off and manages to get back to his feet! This has been an exciting period of action! Khan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amir Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aata stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Aata looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Aata throws a head kick that half lands.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aata closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Aata escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aata misses with a double jab.

A close round but Robert Aata will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Khan gets tackled into the cage by Aata. Aata maintains the clinch. Khan tries to score a body lock takedown but Aata shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Aata looking to throw knees to the head but Khan is blocking nicely.
Aata breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Aata gets a clinch. Khan has Aata pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Aata manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Aata obliges. Aata breaks from the clinch.
Aata tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Aata fakes the leg kick and cracks Khan in the body. Aata throws a head kick that misses. Khan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Khan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Aata's head. Aata keeping moving, preventing Khan from controlling successfully. Khan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Aata can do anything to dispel that myth. Khan has gone for a leg lock! Aata slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khan's guard. Khan has his foot on Aata's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aata works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Khan trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Khan looking to control but Aata is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Aata is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aata is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Khan controlling the pace for now. Aata holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Khan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan takes Aata's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Aata is in trouble. Will Khan go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aata fending off the submission attempt from Khan. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amir Khan dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Aata takes the fight into the clinch. Aata gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Khan.

Khan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aata fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Aata throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Khan's head. Aata connects with a solid leg kick. No luck for Khan with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amir Khan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Khan is rocked! Aata tries to stand but Khan is controlling from the bottom. Oh Khan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Aata wants to stand and escape but instead Khan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Khan seems to have got his legs back now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Aata is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Aata has escaped and now he's on top! Aata wants to stand but Khan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan wants to improve his position but instead Aata has moved into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Khan is looking to improve his position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rickenbacker v.2 throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Monroe misses with a wild combination.
Rickenbacker v.2 goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Monroe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rickenbacker v.2 looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Monroe is thwarting Rickenbacker v.2's attempts to control the position. Rickenbacker v.2 is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Monroe is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Monroe stops Rickenbacker v.2 from getting back to his feet.

Gibson Rickenbacker v.2 has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Rickenbacker v.2 throws out a loose jab but Monroe uses good head movement to avoid it. Monroe tries to bum rush Rickenbacker v.2 with a series of wild strikes but Rickenbacker v.2 uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rickenbacker v.2 pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rickenbacker v.2 throws a lazy right hand but Monroe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Monroe scores a takedown into full mount! Rickenbacker v.2 is in all sorts of trouble here.

Monroe raining down hammerfists from mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Monroe cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Monroe lands a heavy elbow. Monroe looking to control and managing it successfully. Rickenbacker v.2 tries to lock up and control but Monroe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monroe prevents Rickenbacker v.2 from getting the reversal. Rickenbacker v.2 slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Monroe controlling the action here. Rickenbacker v.2 wants to control but Monroe is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rickenbacker v.2 is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Monroe decides to stand up. Rickenbacker v.2 throws a jab when Monroe was well out of range. A bone on bone clash there as Rickenbacker v.2 blocks the leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rickenbacker v.2. Monroe does a little dance to reset his feet. Monroe darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Monroe tries to stand and escape but Rickenbacker v.2 is controlling the position.

Monroe is looking to defend but Rickenbacker v.2 has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Monroe! Rickenbacker v.2 pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Monroe taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banton moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Kim Jong Dong has been cut. Banton feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jong Dongs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A shot to the liver by Banton. Beautiful body shot. Nice body punch from Banton. Banton throws a series of strikes that have Jong Dong backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jong Dong has a takedown stuffed. Banton jabs Jong Dong to the body, keeping him at a distance. Jong Dong seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Banton shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jong Dong is backing up but Banton catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jong Dong covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Banton Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

It looks like Clark Kent has been cut. Williams keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kent throws a head kick that misses. Williams misses with a body kick. Williams on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kent throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams. Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kent moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A jab from Kent misses. Williams throws a series of strikes that have Kent backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kent sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kent throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A punch lands to the side of Kent 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kent shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense. Williams feints and then cracks Kent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kent down. Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kent thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kent working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Williams's head. Kent chips away with some ground and pound. Kent wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Kent postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kent missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kent doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kent manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kent passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Williams dominated that round. The cut man is working on Clark Kent's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kent looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Williams leaves Kent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kent looks for the body kick but Williams saw that one coming. Williams avoids the head kick by Kent.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Williams closes the distance and pushes Kent back into the cage. Williams prevents the takedown attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davee swings for the body but Axon moves out of range.
Adam Axon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Axon walks into a left hand.
It looks like Adam Axon has been cut. Axon moves into range and clinches up with Davee. Davee has Axon pressed against the cage, preventing Axon from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Still in the clinch, Davee scores with a nice short uppercut. Davee tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Axon's elbow. Axon misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Axon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Davee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Axon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davee circles away quickly and effectively. Davee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Davee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Axon circles away quickly and effectively. Davee tries to bum rush Axon with a series of wild strikes but Axon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Axon misses with a double jab.
Axon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Davee's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Axon trying to control but Davee is working from the bottom. Davee wants to stand and escape but Axon is having none of it. Davee keeping moving, preventing Axon from controlling successfully. Axon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Davee lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Axon! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Axon is desperately trying to improve his position but Davee has a good base and remains in mount.

Stanley thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Roy is rocked! Roy takes a body punch but keeps moving. Roy get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Roy stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Stanley runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
