Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Bruvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olav Klint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruvik kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rånny Bruvik. Klint has chosen The Pixies - Tame as his entrance music. Olav Klint will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronny Bruvik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruvik is looking to land body kicks. Bruvik displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Klint. Bruvik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Klint's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bruvik connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Klint scrambles back to his feet. Klint tries to close the distance and clinch but Bruvik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Klint tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bruvik buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bruvik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Klint takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Klint closes the distance and clinches up with Bruvik, looking for a takedown. Klint pushes Bruvik against the cage but Bruvik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruvik throws a chopping leg kick but Klint manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Klint moves into the clinch. Bruvik pressing his opponent against the cage. Bruvik using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Bruvik is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Klint is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Ronny Bruvik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Olav Klint. Bruvik putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Klint in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Klint avoiding damage as Bruvik throws knees to the body.

Bruvik is fighting the takedown attempt but Klint gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klint got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bruvik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klint has managed to get both his arms back between Bruvik's legs - danger averted. Bruvik preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Klintis looking to pass into half guard but Bruvik pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bruvik is in guard. Klint has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Klint is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bruvik might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bruvik throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Klint works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bruvik wants to control from the top but Klint keeps moving. Klint not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Klint crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bruvik - the referee stops the clock and Klint gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bruvik. Klint manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bruvik thows a body kick. Klint tries to catch it but that hurt him. Bruvik shoots in and gets a takedown into Klint's guard. Bruvik throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bruvik scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Klint utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bruvik is pushing down on Klint's leg trying to pass to half guard. Klint is fighting to maintain full guard but Bruvik has managed to sneak the leg through. Klint takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! Klint has hold of Bruvik's hands but Bruvik slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruvik winds up and cracks Klint with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Klint keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bruvik thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bruvik passes into side control, despite Klint's attempt to control the position.
Bruvik in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bruvik tries to advance to mount but Klint denies him. Klint dodges the ground and pound from Bruvik.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruvik has an Americana. Klint didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bruvik is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bruvik hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Selassie throws a jab but it's blocked by Shiv. Shiv takes a swing at Selassie's ribcage but misses. Selassie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Selassie misses with a wild body shot. Shiv lands a head shot. Selassie throws a hook to the side of Shiv's head but Shiv sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Selassie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shiv manages to avoid it. Selassie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shiv at a distance.
Shiv attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Selassie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shiv was well out of range. Poor timing from Selassie. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Positions getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Positions dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Leary. That did some damage! Positions darts in trying to clinch and Leary counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Positions is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leary thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Positions's head. Leary wants to lay and pray for a moment but Positions keeps working. Positions is looking for a sweep. Leary is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Leary is just content to waste time from the top position. Positions takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leary stopping the sweep attempt from Positions. Positions had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leary defends it easily. Positions is looking for a triangle here but Leary uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A cross from Crino lands. Ghost is trying hard to land a takedown here. Crino sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ghost fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crino manages to avoid it. Ghost moves out of range as Crino strikes. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ghost. Crino just misses with a punch to the body.
Ghost takes a body punch but keeps moving. Crino with a nice cross. Ghost steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crino. Ghost displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crino throws out the jab. Nice defenses there by Ghost. Ghost takes a swing at Crino's ribcage but misses. Crino's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ghost connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crino scrambles back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crino takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ghost throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Crino stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Ghost follows into mount!
