 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! go fails with the takedown. go misses with a straight left. The fighters circling - go throws out the jab but it was never going to land. go lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
 It looks like Jason Sturd has been cut. Sturd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by go.
go displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sturd throws out the jab. Sturd throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sturd lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jab, jab by Sturd - just one landing. go needs to keep his hands up - Sturd had a free shot at his head there. Sturd scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. go takes a shot right to the bread basket. go looks gassed! Sturd fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sturd connects with a right hand. go shakes it off. Sturd lands with a big right hook that stumbles go - he's out on his feet here!  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malibu throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Malibu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Malibu misses with a kick to the body.
Nice defenses there by Law. Malibu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Law circles away quickly and effectively. Law wants to clinch up but Malibu keeps it at a distance.

 It looks like Shawn Malibu has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Law throwing strikes but missing. Malibu is still in real trouble! Can Law finish him?

Malibu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Law's hands.

Law lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Malibu hang on? As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Malibu swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Malibu gets back to half guard. Law is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Malibu can do to turn this around?

Clapton shoots for a takedown but konicke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. konicke leaves Clapton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. konicke jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Clapton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. konicke is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Clapton off and has taken his back! Clapton is in bad spot here.

james konicke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. konicke is looking to improve his position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. konicke is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Clapton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Clapton's back! Clapton turns into konicke and is now in his guard.

Nockchev moves in looking to clinch but McLovin pushes him off. McLovin misses the shot to the body. Nockchev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McLovin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nockchev. Nockchev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

McLovin instigates a clinch. A left hand lands to the body for McLovin.
McLovin lands with a short head shot on the inside. McLovin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Nockchev. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McLovin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nockchevs head. Nockchev tries to land knees in the clinch but McLovin avoids the damage to the body. McLovin prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nockchev tries to pull guard but McLovin won't allow it.
McLovin lands a hook that snaps the head of Nockchev backwards. McLovin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
McLovin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice cross by McLovin. Nockchev doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nockchev looks gassed! McLovin grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Nockchev takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! McLovin cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Homether throws a right and a left that Pekar avoids nicely. Pekar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Homether was well out of range. Poor timing from Pekar. Pekar connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Homether just misses with a punch to the body.
Homether scores with a one two! Pekar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
 It looks like Harvey Pekar has been cut. Pekar lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pekar closes the distance and clinches. Homether tries to break the clinch but Pekar is controlling the position. Pekar lands on the inside with an uppercut. A body shot lands from Pekar.
Homether is breathing heavily. A frustrated look appears on Homether's face as he tries to break the clinch. Homether takes an elbow to the temple.
 It looks like Alex Homether has been cut. Pekar lands a shoulder strike. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pekar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Pekar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Pekar utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pekar lands a shot to the body. Pekar lands with a short head shot on the inside. Pekar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Homether backwards. Pekar misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Homether.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pekar lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Homether backwards. Oh Homether is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A short right from Pekar on the inside. Pekar lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Pekar wants the takedown. Homether is fighting it off but Pekar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Homether's guard against the cage. Homether keeping moving, preventing Pekar from controlling successfully. Pekar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Homether seems to have got his legs back now. Pekar throws a big right hand that misses. Homether looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pekar is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Homether pulls Pekar in close to prevent any damage. Pekar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Pekar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pekar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Homether works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pekar ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Pekar misses with a double jab
and Homether counters with a right hand to the body. Pekar connects with a crisp jab. Donk. Pekar catches Homether right on the button with a cross. Pekar scores with a hook to the body. Homether takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Pekar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Pekar works Homether's body with a nice hook. Homether keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Homether throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Homether gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Homether walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pekar has taken the fight to the clinch.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tweet circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tweet lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Tweet throws a hook but Sackett avoids it easily. Sackett tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tweet regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sackett. Sackett wants to stand and escape but instead Tweet has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.  That's four minutes gone in the round. Sackett postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tweet looks a forlorn figure.
Tweet is desperately trying to improve his position but Sackett has a good base and remains in mount. Tweet wants to control but Sackett is having none of it. Tweet is in all sorts of trouble here.

Sackett swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tweet is now in Sackett's guard. A big mistake from Sackett there, giving up the dominant position! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tweet wants to pass the guard but Sackett is keeping the position. Yance Sackett dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sackett tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tweet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sackett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tweet's waist but Tweet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sackett off to one side. Tweet looks to throw the jab but Sackett is out of range. Sackett is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Tweet doesn't seem bothered though. Sackett tries to clinch and Tweet cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tweet showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sackett.

Tweet is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Sackett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sackett throws a solid leg kick but Tweet takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sackett. Sackett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tweet swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tweet blocks a low kick nicely. Sackett looks to land a left hand but Tweet moved out of range nicely. Anthony Tweet is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tweet blocks a low kick nicely.

A nice inside leg kick there by Tweet. That's going to slow Sackett down. Tweet takes a body punch but keeps moving. A big left from Tweet misses. Sackett with a poor takedown
and Tweet moves into the clinch. Tweet changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sackett fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sackett throws a hook but Tweet avoids it easily. Nice uppercut lands for Sackett. That snapped Tweet's head back.
