And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dusty Prall!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Up defends it nicely.
Up with a lazy takedown attempt

and Prall counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Prall is working for takedown but Up is calmly controlling the position for now.

Up has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Prall clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Up lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Prall hold on?!
Up connects with a big shot to the side of Prall's head.
Prall trying to control but not successfully.
Prall is really stuck here.
Despite being in a bad position, Prall is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts.

Up lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Prall.
Up scores with strikes from the back.
Prall is trapped and Up is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Up lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Prall grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Up lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Up lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Up.
Up is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Up gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Up gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Up apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Prall counters with a shoot takedown. Up fights it but they end up in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Up preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Up trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Prall tries to free his leg and advance position but Up is retaining full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Up throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Up throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Prall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Up swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Up on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Up tries to get out of the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Prall throws a half hearted mid kick.

and Up counters with a shoot takedown. Prall fights it but they end up in guard.
Shut Up has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dusty Prall.
Up postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Up is looking to work some ground and pound but Prall has wrist control.

Prall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Up doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Prall is tightening it up a little... Up has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Up reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Up taps out! nice BJJ there by Prall!
