The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morozov shoots in for a double leg but Noir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ranetok takes one on the button.

It looks like Lena Ranetok has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Abramov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Abramov.
Abramov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ranetok was well out of range. Poor timing from Abramov.
Abramov keeps the fight on the outside.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Abramov, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abramov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Abramov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Ranetok decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Abramov tries to roll over but Ranetok keeps him under control.
Abramov flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ranetok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Oh Ranetok is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Abramov dances in with a quick combination. Ranetok is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Abramov snaps Ranetok's head back. Ranetok stumbles backwards against the cage. Abramov steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Ranetok's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Ranetok just didn't come prepared.

Howard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Howard closes the distance and clinches up with Frans, looking for a takedown. Howard pushes Frans against the cage but Frans circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Howard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Howard somewhat.

Frans throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Howard 's waist but Howard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Frans off to one side.
Howard steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Frans. That one must have hurt.
Howard throws a series of punches but Frans moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Frans looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dwight Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frans reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Frans taps out! nice BJJ there by Howard !

Ivanov misses with a takedown attempt - Pavlik sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pavlik fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ivanov, pushing him back against the cage.

Ivanov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pavlik smiles and moves away.
Ingo Pavlik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cj Ivanov.

Pavlik gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pavlik misses with an elbow strike.

Ivanov gets control of Pavlik's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ivanov will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Pavlik got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ivanov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pavlik has managed to get both his arms back between Ivanov's legs - danger averted.

Ivanov has his foot on Pavlik's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pavlik works his way back into a safe position though.

Ivanov pushes a forearm under Pavlik's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pavlik is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
