Makino throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Shakesphere stumbling backwards into the cage! Shakesphere bounces back off the cage towards Makino, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Makino lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Makino celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriemilyanenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Eriemilyanenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Tyson.
Tyson misses with a double jab.
Tyson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Eriemilyanenko.
Tyson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Eriemilyanenko closes the distance and clinches.
Tyson is trying to break the clinch but Eriemilyanenko is controlling him.

Eriemilyanenko breaks from the clinch.

Eriemilyanenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tyson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyson tries to get out of the position.
Eriemilyanenko stands and throws Tyson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Tyson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tyson parries the strikes from Eriemilyanenko easily there. Eriemilyanenko is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tyson to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eriemilyanenko has hold of Tyson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tyson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Eriemilyanenko cranks the arm and Tyson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tyson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
