The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacksonville pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kaunietis back to the cage. Jacksonville follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Jacksonville avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jacksonville keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A nice combination there by Jacksonville.
Jacksonville changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kaunietis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. This has been an exciting period of action! Kaunietis is looking for a sweep. Jacksonville is working to tighten is grip on Kaunietis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kaunietis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jacksonville is really squeezing tight and eventually Kaunietis passes out! Jacksonville breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DeYoung is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kaaihue knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. DeYoung lands a decent elbow from side control. Kaaihue looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! DeYoung taking a breather here. Kaaihue avoids any damage from the ground and pound of DeYoung. Kaaihue should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kaaihue takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kositzky fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Kositzky as Castillo shoots in. Nice body punch from Castillo. Castillo fails to land the takedown. Kositzky misses with a few strikes there.

He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mcghee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mcghee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Mcghee attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Mcghee just misses with a punch to the body.
Fox throws a leg kick that is checked and Mcghee counters with a big head kick but Fox shrugs it off. Crunch! Fox slams his shin into Mcghee's torso. Fox wants to land a leg kick but Mcghee is out of range. Fox on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mcghee. Mcghee obviously looking to wear him down.
Fox moves in looking to clinch but Mcghee pushes him off. Mcghee connects with an inside leg kick. Fox throws a sloppy body shot
and Mcghee counters with a slapping leg kick. Mcghee takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Mcghee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Mcghee looks gassed! A looping hook to the body misses from Fox. Mcghee does a little dance to reset his feet. Fox connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Fox's jab looks to have found its range, popping Mcghee under the eye. Fox throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mcghee's head. Fox rushes Mcghee and presses him up against the cage. Good body shot from Fox.
Fox lands a body punch in the clinch. Fox lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mcghee backwards. Fox will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mcghee up against the cage. Fox lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Fox is leaning against Mcghee and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Fox lands a shot to the body. Mcghee seems to have recovered his senses.
