Hogan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Faint - The Geeks Were Right. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Li as he avoids it easily.

Li fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hogan to the ground. Li is now in Hogan's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Li stands up and waves to Hogan to follow him.

Li closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Li fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Li prevents Hogan from breaking the clinch.

Li drags the fight down to the ground.

Li wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hogan, who protects the arm well.

Li decides to stand back up. Li steps back and let's Hogan get back to his feet.

It looks like Da Gama might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Martin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Yayutee Da Gama.

Da Gama has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Martin!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin has left one of his arms exposed and Da Gama doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Martin screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Giraldo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vittu tries to avoid it but Giraldo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vittu to the ground. Vittu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Giraldo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vittu as he jumps to the side.
Vittu lands a really nice looking cross but Giraldo seems unphased.
Giraldo fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Piter Giraldo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vittu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Giraldo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
