The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill throws a half hearted mid kick. Hill looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Hill shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Targaryen napping and manages to drive through into side control! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hill in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Targaryen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hill off and has taken his back! Hill rolls, trying to escape but Targaryen keeps control of the position.
Hill staying busy and making it hard for Targaryen to control. Hill tries to roll but Targaryen sticks to his back.
Will Targaryen go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Targaryen is working for a rear naked choke. Hill is not defending it well and Targaryen has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hill refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hill's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Emelianenko drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Kelly goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Kelly because Emelianenko was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Rizzo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Verdune is able to avoid easily. Verdune rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rizzo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rizzo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Verdune tries to clinch but Rizzo moves out of range. Rizzo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Rizzo motions for Verdune to come forward. Rizzo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Verdune stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rizzo. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rizzo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Verdune tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rizzo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Star scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Star leaves Iourarm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Star thuds a left hand into Iourarm's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Star looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Star scores with a one two! Iourarm had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Star throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Iourarm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Iourarm takes a shot right to the bread basket. Iourarm takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice jab there from Star. Star wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iourarm walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Decent striking displayed by Star there. Iourarm drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Star darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Oh Iourarm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Iourarm loses concentration momentarily and Star pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Iourarm crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Star finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
