Velazquez works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Velazquez lands a big right hook! Korpi looks hurt but is still standing! Velazquez lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Korpi falls down and Velazquez dives in with a huge hammer fist! Korpi's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Velazquez runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Juan Velazquez!
