The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blue scores with a nice body kick.
Blue throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Nick Fry has been cut. Fry misses with a takedown attempt - Blue sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Blaze Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fry avoids the head kick by Blue.
A nice inside leg kick there by Blue. That's going to slow Fry down. Fry looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Blue drops Fry with a beautiful combination! Fry stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Blue is looking for the KO! Fry takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Whack! Blue lands a heavy head kick that drops Fry. The ref tackles Blue to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Fry was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kay decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kay thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Haye to regain full guard. Haye is trying to keep Kay in close.
Kay prevents Haye from getting back to his feet. Haye tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kay trying to control but Haye is working from the bottom. Kay is sitting in close to Haye's body. Haye has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kay is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kay is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Haye.

Pena is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pena trying to hold on to Lundeby's head to control him but Lundeby postures up.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kamei misses the jab. Kamei swings widly with a right hand
and Benn counters with a series of strikes. Kamei will be more careful next time no doubt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Kamei throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Koichi Kamei seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kamei slips a jab and a cross from Benn.

Kamei fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Benn. Jp Benn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Visagie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Goc is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Visagie. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Visagie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A good leg kick by Goc. Goc looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Visagie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Goc. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Visagie might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Goc has got the better of the exchanges. Goc fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Visagie. Good leg kick by Goc there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
