Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaecon Sinton! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinton fails with a takedown attempt. Sinton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sinton closes the distance and clinches. Sinton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Sinton is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaecon Sinton. Jones looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sinton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sinton off to one side. Sinton fails with the takedown. Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet. Sinton shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jaecon Sinton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sinton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Sinton. Sinton takes a kick to the side of the head. Sinton shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sinton!

Sinton tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Sinton's guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones tries to stand but Sinton is controlling from the bottom. Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Sinton has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones wants to stand up but Sinton is controlling him. Jones is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sinton dives into side control.

Jones trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Jon Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones wants to control from the top but Sinton keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sinton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Sinton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jones throws a right hand that Sinton ducks under and follows up with a left that Sinton also avoids with ease. Sinton looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Jon Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Sinton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sinton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Sinton persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Sinton fails with the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Sinton is predictable there so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sinton on the ground. Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sinton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sinton is keeping the position for now. Jaecon Sinton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sinton is proving hard to escape from. Jon Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sinton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pollock shoots in looking for a takedown but Keats manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pollock's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pollock shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Keats napping and manages to drive through into side control! Keats is trying to improve his position. Pollock wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Keats, who protects the arm well. Pollock tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pollock working away. Pollock tries for a kimura but Keats is defending well. Keats wants to control but Pollock postures up.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Keats will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foran throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Noke tries a low kick but Foran avoids it. Noke throws a head kick but Foran moves out of range.
Good shot there by Noke. Noke takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Foran throws a lazy right hand but Noke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Foran throws a series of punches but Noke moves out of range. Foran connects with the punch. Noke shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Foran fails with a takedown attempt. Noke shoots for a takedown but Foran saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Noke is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Foran's half guard. Noke is keen to just control but Foran is a slippery customer. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schtrappe throws a body punch but Donelly moves out of range. Donelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Schtrappe is just out of range. Donelly dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Schtrappe scores with a decent looking hook. A solid leg kick lands there for Schtrappe.
Schtrappe loads up on a big right hand but Donelly slips the punch. Schtrappe checks a leg kick. Schtrappe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Donelly throws a hook to the side of Schtrappe's head but Schtrappe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Schtrappe turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Schtrappe throws out a powerful jab. Schtrappe takes a swing at Donelly's ribcage but misses. Schtrappe throws a nice outside leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Donelly catches Schtrappe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Schtrappe looks to land a right hand but Donelly moved out of range. Donelly throws a body kick that misses.

Donelly feints and then cracks Schtrappe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Schtrappe down. This has been an exciting period of action! That kick from Schtrappe tenderised Donelly's leg. Donelly is trying to keep his angry face on. Donelly is breathing heavily. Schtrappe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Schtrappe throws a good cross that connects.

Schtrappe nods at Donelly to acknowledge the strikes. Donelly loads up on a big right hand but Schtrappe slips the punch. Donelly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Schtrappe walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Donelly checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Schtrappe does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Schtrappe jabbing away but nothing is landing. Donelly throws a body kick that misses. Schtrappe misses the shot to the body. Donelly tests Schtrappe's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice defenses there by Schtrappe. Schtrappe throws a hook to the side of Donelly's head but Donelly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schtrappe connects with a body shot that sends Donelly's belly button to the back. Donelly moves out of range as Schtrappe throws a body kick.
Schtrappe thumps Donelly with a low kick. Donelly throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Schtrappe to counter with a crisp jab. Schtrappe digs a good hook to Donelly's body.
Donelly lands a lovely overhand right. Donelly wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Schtrappe is looking to slow Donelly down with leg kicks. Schtrappe lands a nice hook to Donelly's body. Donelly takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Schtrappe jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Schtrappe is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Donelly had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Donelly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Schtrappe scores with a nice strike. Oh Donelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schtrappe lands a slapping body shot.
Schtrappe lands with a nice body punch. Donelly on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Schtrappe connects with a body shot. A nice inside leg kick there by Schtrappe. That's going to slow Donelly down. Schtrappe lands with a shot to the body. Schtrappe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Donelly. That did some damage! Schtrappe lets loose with a powerful body kick. Donelly will feel that in the morning. Donelly seems to have got his legs back now. Schtrappe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Schtrappe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schtrappe lands with a shot to the body. Schtrappe lands a right hook to the body.
Schtrappe scores with the left hand. Donelly knows he should have avoided that one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacque Schtrappe dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Schtrappe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Schtrappe thows a body shot but no joy. Schtrappe lands with a right hand. Donelly fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Schtrappe manages to avoid it. Schtrappe wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Schtrappe connects with a leg kick. Donelly looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Schtrappe steps in with a hook that catches Donelly right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Schtrappe follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Donelly looks absolutely devastated.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paxton throws a combination. Morgan tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Dexter Morgan has been cut. Billy Paxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morgan throws a nice outside leg kick. Morgan throws a head kick that half lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paxton lands with an uppercut that bounces Morgan off the cage and back into range. Paxton looks to score with a jab to the body but Morgan is just out of range. Paxton drops Morgan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Paxton follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cali throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bourne sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cali tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bourne swivels and escapes. John Bourne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cali comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Cali takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Cali throws a hook to the side of Bourne's head but Bourne sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bourne avoids the body shot from Cali.
No luck for Cali with that takedown attempt. Bourne lands with a right hand. Cali shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bourne counters with a nice uppercut. John Bourne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kinesa Cali. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cali looks to score with a jab to the body but Bourne is just out of range. Cali shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cali slips under a jab from Bourne. Bourne lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bourne scores with a jab. Cali acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Cali is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bourne.

Bourne defending well as Cali loads up on a big left hand. Bourne scores with a nice head shot. Cali bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice shot lands for Bourne.
Cali is rocked! Bourne fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cali looks gassed! Bourne cracks Cali with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cali tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bourne pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cali is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
