Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Players Ball by Outkast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Alexander Gracie could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rebel Johnson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Gracie.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Gracie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt.
Alexander Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rebel Johnson.

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gracie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I think Bimbo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ICP - Miracles. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lawrence Bimbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Peck is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bimbo had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Peck lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Peck clobbers Bimbo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Peck cracks Bimbo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bimbo falls backwards against the cage. Peck follows up with more strikes that drop Bimbo to his knees. Peck keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bimbo! This one is all over!

No joy there for Ruude, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Wolfen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ruude stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wolfen swings wildly with an uppercut but Ruude uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruude blocking some punches.

Wolfen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ruude regains guard immediately.

Wolfen pulls Ruude in close to his closed guard and prevents Ruude from doing any damage or advancing position.

Wolfen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ruude doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ruude manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Ruude lands a couple of elbows.
Wolfen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wolfen is stalking Ruude. Ruude circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Wolfen, and it's lights out! Ruude really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Faber shoots for a double leg takedown but Huge sprawls well. He's pushed Faber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Huge slaps away a takedown attempt from Faber, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Faber on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Huge lands a two punch combo.
Huge moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Faber tries to score a power double leg takedown but Huge sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Faber somewhat.
Alain Huge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Urijah Faber.
Horrible takedown by Faber or perhaps it was just good defense by Huge which made him look bad.
Faber misses with a takedown attempt - Huge sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Huge catches Faber with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Huge throws a monster overhand right that drops Faber! Huge follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Marks drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Marks as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bartos screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Marks! Nice submission victory there!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Crown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fist missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Fist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crown manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fist manages to get himself to full guard.
Crown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Crown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fist fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Crown to the ground. Fist is now in Crown's guard.
Fist forces his way into half guard.

Fist is nestled in close to Crown, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
