The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saari moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Peter Smith has been cut. No joy there for Saari, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Saari. Saari takes a body punch but keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Saari misses the target. Smith throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Saari's head.
It looks like Henry Saari has been cut. Saari lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively. Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Saari throws a right and a left that both miss. Saari throws a combination that misses and Smith counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Saari is breathing heavily. Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Saari moves out of range easily. Saari misses with a double jab

That's one minute gone in the round. Smith blocks a jab. Smith catches Saari with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A shot to the liver by Smith. Beautiful body shot. Saari takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Smith scores with a punch to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith lands a big right hand that sends Saari crashing to the mat! Smith stays standing though and waves Saari back to his feet!
Saari is rocked! Saari on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Oh Saari is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Smith throws a quick head kick that knocks Saari silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Smith is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherman throws a head kick that misses. Sherman throws a jab when Gracie was well out of range. Gracie connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Gracie motions for Sherman to come forward. Gracie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sherman throws a low kick but Gracie avoids it. Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sherman tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sherman to the ground. Sherman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sherman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sherman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Gracie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sherman missing with a left hand there. Gracie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sherman tries a head kick but it misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sherman scores with a nice strike. Gracie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Gracie keeps the fight on the outside. Michael Sherman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sherman motions for Gracie to come forward. Sherman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sherman checks a low kick from Gracie. Sherman throws a predictable looking body shot
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gracie scores with a nice body kick.
Sherman is breathing heavily. Gracie fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sherman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Gracie scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gracie landing strikes, looking to finish! The referee warns Sherman that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sherman is rocked! Gracie is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gracie extends the arm and Sherman is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cifer Jr checks a leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Lettunen.
Cifer Jr throws the left hand but Lettunen avoids the punch easily. A nice leg kick lands there from Lettunen. Lettunen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A solid leg kick lands there for Lettunen.
Cifer Jr looks gassed! Sloppy strikes from Cifer Jr. Those never looked like landing. Lettunen lands a head kick. Cifer Jr smiles back at him and beckons him forward. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lettunen works the jab nicely. Cifer Jr misses the body punch enabling Lettunen to counter with a crisp jab. Lettunen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Cifer Jr steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lettunen. That one must have hurt. Cifer Jr drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cifer Jr is rocked! Lettunen throws a front kick that sends Cifer Jr stumbling back into the cage. Cifer Jr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cifer Jr is still in real trouble! Can Lettunen finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cifer Jr can't keep his opponent in guard - Lettunen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lettunen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cifer Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cifer Jr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lettunen uses his free foot to push down on Cifer Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cifer Jr. Lettunen lands with some strikes. Lettunen cracks Cifer Jr with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Fredriksson throws a series of punches but Pedofiili avoids them all with ease. Pedofiili throws a head kick that misses. Pedofiili lands a glancing blow to the side of Fredriksson's head. Freeman fails to land the takedown. A looping hook to the body misses from Ninja. Freeman does a little dance to reset his feet. Freeman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ninja pinned against the cage. Ninja gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ninja slips under a jab. Freeman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ninja as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Huey Freeman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ninja avoids the body shot from Freeman.

Kalske pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Kalske scores with a nice strike. Hemmo Kalske seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but James might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kalske has got the better of the exchanges. Kalske uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
