The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kristoff goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Nice sprawl there from Kristoff as Liaudin shoots in. Liaudin moves in looking to clinch but Kristoff pushes him off. Kristoff misses with a few strikes there.
Kristoff throws a lazy right hand but Liaudin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kristoff throws a right and a left that both miss. Kristoff uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Liaudin has time to react. Kristoff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McDonald creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kova sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Keller is staying active underneath Linderoth, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Linderoth prevents Keller from improving his position. Linderoth is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Tobias Linderoth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Linderoth is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Keller tries to get to full guard but Linderoth has control of the leg. Keller is pressing down on Linderoth's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Linderoth postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bass avoids the head kick by Shelter.
Anderson Shelter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bass misses with a hook. Bass showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shelter.
Shelter lands a body shot.
Shelter blocks a low kick nicely. Bass lands with a right hand. Shelter fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shelter has Bass up against the cage in a clinch.
Bass's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Shelter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bass. Shelter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bass moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shelter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bass counters with a lovely shot to the body. Shelter thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bass misses with a takedown attempt - Shelter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Shelter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bass but Bass pushes him off and we're back to square one. Shelter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bass counters with a right hand to the body. Shelter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
No joy there for Bass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A combination from Bass does no damage. Bass sizes up Shelter with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Bass keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bass avoids the body shot from Shelter.

A looping hook to the body misses from Shelter. Bass does a little dance to reset his feet. Shelter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bass. Bass moves out of range of the strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bass lands the left hand. Shelter fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bass uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shelter. Shelter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bass is defended easily by Shelter.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Bass scores with a hook to the body. Shelter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Shelter plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Shelter jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bass lands a nice shot to the body.
Shelter throws a wild body kick that Bass sees coming a mile off. Bass takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Shelter thows a body shot but no joy. Shelter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bass manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shelter shoots in but Bass avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bass shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Shelter is trying to keep Bass in close.
Bass wants to control from the top but Shelter keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shelter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bass defends well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shelter is looking for a triangle but Bass pushes his legs off easily.

Shelter leaves Bass with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Shelter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bass just misses with a punch to the body.

Shelter blocks a jab. Teddy Bass seems to be getting the better of the standup. Shelter throws a shot from downtown. Bass moves away and avoids it. Shelter misses with an uppercut
and Bass counters with a left and a right that stings Shelter. Shelter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bass cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bass digs a good hook to Shelter's body.

Bass connects with a body shot. Shelter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Bass keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A combination from Shelter does no damage. Shelter ducks under a wild hook from Bass. Bass walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shelter checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Shelter connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Shelter throws out a loose jab but Bass uses good head movement to avoid it. Shelter throws a right and a left that Bass avoids nicely. Bass misses with a takedown attempt - Shelter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shelter takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Shelter throws a hook but Bass avoids it easily. Bass scores with a punch to the head. Shelter misses with a wild combination.
Shelter throws a chopping leg kick but Bass manages to avoid taking any serious damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bass throws a body punch but Shelter moves out of range. Shelter misses with a looping left. Anderson Shelter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bass throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shelter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Shelter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bass is rocked! Bass swings widly with a right hand
and Shelter scores with a counter punch that sends Bass to the canvas! Shelter smells blood - he's punishing Bass with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bass has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
