The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chiet shoots and misses and Avatar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chiet won't be happy with that. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Avatar decides to stand back up. Chiet doesn't succeed with the takedown and Avatar counters with a left and a right that stings Chiet. Chiet misses with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Avatar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Avatar is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Chiet tries to kick Avatar off but Avatar keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Avatar stands up and beckons Chiet to join him on the feet. Avatar has managed to clinch.

Avatar stands up and we're back to a striking position. Chiet is breathing heavily.

Chiet drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Avatar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chiet has Avatar in his guard. Avatar engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Chiet is looking to work some ground and pound but Avatar has wrist control. Avatar keeping full guard, as Chiet tries to pass. Chiet with a flurry of punches that miss. Chiet will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Avatar keeping moving, preventing Chiet from controlling successfully. Avatar is controlling Chiet's posture. Avatar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chiet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Granger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Granger trying to control but Ping is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ping is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Granger trying to control but Ping is having none of it. Poor strikes thrown by Granger there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Ping is looking to improve his position but Granger isn't that keen on the idea. Ping is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Granger trying to control but Ping is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ping manages to regain half guard. Good work. Ping tries to get to full guard but Granger has control of the leg. Ping is staying active underneath Granger, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We're going to have a standup here because Tyson Granger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ping shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Granger as he avoids it easily. Ping avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ping decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ping shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Granger pinned against the cage. Granger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ping is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Granger's half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ping landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ping moves nicely into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Po Ping dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ping moves to clinch but Granger breaks away and Granger counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ping won't be happy with that. You can see the frustration on Ping's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ping. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Ping tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Ping is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ping sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Ping throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Ping manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Granger trying to control the position from guard on top but Ping is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ping wants to control the position but Granger says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Granger drops an elbow to the side of Ping's head. Ping trying to control but Granger postures up.
Ping is not content to let Granger control the position. Ping is trying to maintain the position but Granger is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Granger looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Granger prevents Ping from improving his position. Granger is working for a submission of some sort.

Granger is trying to control the action in half guard but Ping is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curas lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
No luck for Curas with that takedown attempt. Shuai shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Curas but Curas pushes him off and we're back to square one. Curas scores with a head kick. Shuai tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Curas fails with a takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Curas. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Curas.
Curas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ichigo Curas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shuai cracks the inside of Curas's front leg. Curas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Curas wants it to stay on the feet. Curas falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shuai counters with a series of strikes. Curas will be more careful next time no doubt.

Curas tries to bum rush Shuai with a series of wild strikes but Shuai uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Shuai looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Curas throws a lazy body kick and Shuai counters by moving into the clinch. Shuai works on Curas's body with a couple of short punches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Curas has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Shuai can't find room to land a body shot as Curas controls the action.

Shuai tries to score a power double leg takedown but Curas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shuai somewhat. Shuai shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Curas as he avoids it easily. Shuai swinging wildly here.
Curas moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Shuai is breathing heavily. Shuai takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curas keeps Shuai at a distance using the push kick. Shuai is looking to clinch but Curas is avoiding it.
Good leg kick by Curas there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Curas counters with a two punch combo. Curas throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Shuai's head. Curas scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Shuai tries to clinch but Curas is having none of it. Shuai swings away with a leg kick that misses. Curas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shuai on the side of the head.

Shuai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Curas paws at him with a jab and circles away. Curas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A head kick from Curas lands but Shuai takes it in his stride. Curas leaves Shuai with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ichigo Curas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omi Shuai. Curas is looking to slow Shuai down with leg kicks. Ichigo Curas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shuai tries to clinch but Curas is having none of it. Curas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shuai. Curas swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hong tries to clinch up but Moro circles away and keeps his distance. Moro tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hong swivels and escapes. Moro swats away the attempt to clinch by Hong. Hong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Hong gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Moro is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moro is controlling him. Hong working a defensive guard here.
