2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Slice! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammit tries to clinch but Slice moves out of range. Hammit shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well. Slice stuffs the takedown. Hammit closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slice circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Hammit. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slice shoots and misses and Hammit counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like John Slice has been cut. Hammit dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Slice fails to land the takedown. Slice looks gassed! Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hammit. Slice shrugs it off though. An inside leg kick lands from Hammit. Hammit jabs Slice right on the nose. Slice blinks but takes it well. Hammit shoots and misses and Slice counters by moving into the clinch.

Hammit breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hammit is looking to clinch but Slice is avoiding it.
Slice rushes Hammit and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hammit lands with a left to the head. Slice tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammit drops down looking for an ankle pick but Slice pulls his leg out and moves away.
Slice takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hammit. Hammit has his takedown stuffed and Slice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hammit is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Slice is thwarting Hammit's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammit wants to get back to full guard. Slice thows a huge punch but Hammit dodges it nicely.
Slice sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hammit defending well though. Slice slows the pace down in half guard. Hammit is looking for a sweep. Slice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Slice takes the fight into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hammit tries to break the clinch but Slice is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hammit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away. Slice doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hammit counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hammit is working for an americana but Slice has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Hammit was thinking about the submission. Slice keeping moving, preventing Hammit from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hammit with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice keeping moving, preventing Hammit from controlling successfully. Slice lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hammit! Slice trying to control but Hammit is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Slice throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hammit tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hammit tries to hold on but Slice pushes him away. Slice lands a big shot there that rocks Hammit but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Slice takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hammit tries to hold on but Slice postures up. Slice dominating with strikes here. Slice trying to control but Hammit is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hammit is looking to improve his position but Slice isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice pulls guard effortlessly. Hammit is looking to stand up but Slice won't let him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammit wants to control but Slice is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Slice sitting and controlling from the half guard. Slice missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slice doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hammit counters with a big head kick but Slice shrugs it off. Hammit wants to clinch but Slice slips to the side and Slice counters with a shoot takedown. Hammit fights it but they end up in guard. Hammit is looking to stand up but Slice isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hammit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Slice trying to control but Hammit is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Slice won't allow Hammit to sweep him here.
And that's the end of the fight! John Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hammit has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Penn throws a head kick that half lands.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva throws a series of punches but Penn moves out of range. Silva goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Penn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Penn closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage. Penn fails to pull guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Penn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Damien Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Penn. A head kick misses from Silva. No luck for Penn with that takedown attempt. Penn shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Penn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Penn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Penn looks gassed! Silva feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Penn sprawling to the canvas! Penn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Silva finish him?!
Silva drops Penn with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Penn! Silva dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Base closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Silva is striking off his back. Base thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Silva tries to kick Base off in order to stand up. Base Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Base has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Base is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Base hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Henning closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Partacz did well to prevent Henning getting side control. Henning is fending him off so far but Partacz persists. Nope, Henning circles away and we're back to standing. Henning avoids a punch combination nicely.
Henning closes the distance and clinches up with Partacz, looking for a takedown. Henning pushes Partacz against the cage but Partacz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Partacz looks to land a left hand but Henning moved out of range nicely. Henning connects with a high kick. Partacz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Henning's calf. Partacz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Partacz lands in his opponent's guard. Partacz looks gassed! Partacz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Henning wriggles free and stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Partacz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Henning paws at him with a jab and circles away. Henning showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Partacz.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Henning is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Partacz to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Partacz shrugs it off. Henning wants to stand but Partacz is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Partacz lands with an overhand left. Henning gets in close and instigates a clinch. Henning prevents Partacz from breaking the clinch. Henning keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Partacz's efforts to push away. Henning takes a knee to the side of the body. Partacz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Henning has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Axel Henning. That's going to take a lot out of him. Henning misses with a combination

Henning throws out a leg kick but Partacz moves out of range and Henning only half commits. Partacz fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sebastian Partacz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henning bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Partacz pushes Henning away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Henning gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Henning trying to control the action but Partacz is working from the bottom. Partacz gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reaper feints and as Bongo raises his hands in defense, Reaper changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bongo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reaper controls the pace. Reaper sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bongo's guard. Reaper passes to full mount! Reaper in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Reaper looking to finish Bongo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bongo! Reaper punishing his opponent with strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reaper prevents Bongo from getting the reversal. Reaper landing strikes from the mount and Bongo is in trouble! The referee warns Bongo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bongo is trying to escape the mount.

Reaper sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Reaper pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Reaper is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bongo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
