Silva feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Penn sprawling to the canvas! Penn rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Silva finish him?!
Silva drops Penn with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Penn! Silva dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Base has an Americana. Silva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Base is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Base hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
