The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Anstey sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Anstey fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Leo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Leo tries to clinch up.
No joy there for Anstey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anstey changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Anstey is trying to get an arm triangle but Leo is defending well.
Leo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anstey asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Leo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anstey on the ground.
Anstey has hold of Leo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Leo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Anstey cranks the arm and Leo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Leo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
