Ject throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Tarinashi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ject uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tarinashi.
Tarinashi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ject avoids it really well and circles away.
Tarinashi closes the distance and clinches up with Ject, looking for a takedown. Tarinashi pushes Ject against the cage but Ject circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ject cracks Tarinashi with an open hand slap.
Ject fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Tarinashi is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ject moves out of range as Tarinashi strikes.
Ject lands a glancing blow to the side of Tarinashi's head.
A good leg kick by Ject.
Tarinashi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tarinashi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ject defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teppi Tarinashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tarinashi walks straight into a right hand from Ject - that's dropped him! Ject jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tarinashi from any more punishment! Tarinashi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Calzattrounewis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

BOOM! Calzattrounewis lands a beautiful left hook that drops Evans. Evans tries to recover but Calzattrounewis is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Evans lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Joe Calzattrounewis spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a big arrogant.
