Gein might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Hammer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gein tries to avoid it but Hammer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gein to the ground. Gein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Waters has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kicker.
Waters steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kicker. That one must have hurt.
Waters takes a kick to the side of the head.

Kicker gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Dwayne Waters has been cut.
Waters really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Waters's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Waters throws a body punch but Kicker moves out of range.
A low kick from Waters misses
and Kicker makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kicker misses with a head kick.

Kicker has closed the distance and engaged Waters in a clinch.

Waters jumps guard and drags Kicker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kicker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kicker content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Waters has locked up a guillotine! Waters's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kicker is holding on here and Waters must be using up a lot of energy. Kicker has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Waters gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Power with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fun to score with a decent uppercut.

Power shoots in and bounces Fun off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Power throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fun works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Fun has momentary wrist control but Power slips an elbow through the middle.
Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Power postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Power lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Fun down.
Fun is not content to let Power control the position.

Power tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Power has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Power in side control lands a decent elbow.
Power throws a strike aimed at the side of Fun's head but Fun avoids it well.
Fun regains half guard there - taking advantage of Power's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Power keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Fun regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Power.
Fun has momentary wrist control but Power slips an elbow through the middle.
Power trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Power won't allow Fun to get back to his feet.
Fun can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Power controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Power postures up in Fun's guard and throws a big left but Fun blocks it.
Power postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Power looking to sit in guard and control but Fun gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Fun wants to control from the top but Power keeps moving.

Power working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fun doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fun manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fun swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Power swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fun looks to land a combination but Power avoids it well.
Power looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Power avoids the body shot from Fun.
Power on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fun throws a lazy uppercut
and Power counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Power shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Power is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Power has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Fun is desperately trying to improve his position but Power has a good base and remains in mount.
Power throws some wild stikes that Fun manages to avoid easily.
Power with shots to the head and body - Fun looks very uncomfortable down there.

It looks like Dr Fun has been cut.
Power thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Power is landing with some decent strikes but Fun is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Dr Fun's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Fun tries to hold on but Power postures up.
Power can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fun is looking to escape.

Power in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Power goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fun is on top in guard.

Power is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Power tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Fun with a couple of short strikes.

It looks like Diesel Power has been cut.
Power tries to hold on but Fun pushes him away.
Fun will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fun has hold of Power's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Power manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Power regains half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are battling for position here. Power manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Fun trying to control the position from guard on top but Power is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Power swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fun wants to control from the top but Power keeps moving.
Fun not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fun has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Power is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dr Fun just wasn't active enough.
No joy there for Fun, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Diesel Power showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Fun's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Fun missing with a left hand there. Power was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Power is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fun sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Power thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fun's head.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Power takes a little break here. Fun wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
