The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitzucuik looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Mitzucuik misses with a looping left. Mitzucuik takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Kanu Mitzucuik has been cut. Mitzucuik throws a right and a left that both miss. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mitzucuik bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jones drops Mitzucuik with a left right combo! Jones follows him down to the ground into side control.
Mitzucuik is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mitzucuik, pushing him back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mitzucuik backwards. A right hook to the body lands for Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frederman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Furlong defends it nicely. Furlong drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Furlong looking to pass the guard. Furlong trying to control but Frederman is working from the bottom. Furlong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frederman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Frederman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Frederman keeping moving, preventing Furlong from controlling successfully. Furlong drops back for a leg!
