The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palhares misses with a hook. Goode ducked under it nicely.
Goode walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Goode.
Palhares dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Goode shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Palhares slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Palhares stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Palhares wants it to stay on the feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Goode. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Palhares drops Goode with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Goode looks back up at him and smiles so Palhares waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Palhares throws a good cross that connects.
Palhares steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Goode is out on his feet! Palhares sets himself and nearly takes Goode's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
