The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zorro darts in and clinches McLean up against the cage. McLean gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Zorro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McLean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Zorro has his feet on McLean's thighs here. He's pushed McLean off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! McLean screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rockzo is trying to defend but Makar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Makar is looking to take a break and control but Rockzo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rockzo moves into full guard.
Makar wants to pass the guard but Rockzo is keeping the position. Makar trying to control but Rockzo is working from the bottom. Rockzo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Makar looking to pass the guard. Makar is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Makar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Makar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Makar is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rockzo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Makar is looking to defend but Rockzo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Makar! Rockzo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Makar taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suarez smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mendoza takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Suarez lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Enrique Mendoza has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suarez catches Mendoza napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Mendoza to the canvas!
Mendoza is rocked! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Suarez trying to control the position from guard on top but Mendoza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Suarez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mendoza is keeping the position for now. Suarez passes Mendoza's left leg - he's now in half guard. Suarez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Suarez controlling the action here.

Suarez avoids the attempt from Mendoza to control. Suarez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Cyr. Cyr blocks a head kick by Savard.

Savard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cyr is looking to reverse the position. Cyr tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Savard is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Savard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Serge Savard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Cyprien Noe Cyr's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Savard controlling his opponent. Savard gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! A head kick misses from Savard. Savard throws a head kick but Cyr moves out of range.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cyr crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savard - the referee stops the clock and Cyr gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savard. Cyr manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Cyr scores with a takedown into Savard's guard. Savard is working an open guard so Cyr takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Savard throws a nice inside leg kick. Cyr will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. A head kick misses from Savard. Savard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cyr.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Savard slows the pace down. Cyr regains half guard. Cyprien Noe Cyr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cyr actively working from the bottom here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Savard content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Serge Savard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Savard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wispe throws a right and a left that both miss. Maia is looking to clinch. Wispe throws a sloppy head kick and Maia moves out of range easily. Maia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wispe avoids it really well and circles away. Maia feints a jab promting Wispe to slip. Maia then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wispe slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Maia has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wispe finds it's way round the side to connect with Maia's head. Maia tries a head kick but it misses.
Wispe dodges the punch combination from Maia.
Nice sprawl there from Wispe as Maia shoots in. Maia closes the distance and clinches. Wispe tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Maia just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maia has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wispe uses from the top position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Wispe throws a strike but Maia rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wispe had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Maia defends it easily. Maia tries to stand but Wispe is controlling from the bottom. Maia trying to control the position from guard on top but Wispe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Maia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wispe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maia has managed to get both his arms back between Wispe's legs - danger averted. Wispe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maia avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Maia slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wispe tries to bench press Maia off him but Maia keeps the position. Wispe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Maia off and has taken his back! Wispe gets his hands free as Maia looks to control. Maia is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wispe missing with strikes from the back. Wispe has Maia flattened out and is raining down punches. Wispe is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wispe throwing damaging strikes from the back! Maia could be in trouble here!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cruz Gomez! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dude Duderson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duderson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Gomez is looking to clinch but Duderson is avoiding it.
Duderson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gomez's half guard. Duderson controlling the action here. Gomez looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Gomez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duderson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gomez is looking for a sweep. Duderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gomez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Duderson is working away from the top position though. Gomez is trying to get back to full guard. Gomez trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gomez pushes Duderson off looking to stand but Duderson dives back in and keeps control.
Gomez is trying to maintain the position but Duderson is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cruz Gomez. Duderson throws a sloppy head kick and Gomez counters with a two punch combo. Duderson throws a head kick that misses. Gomez doesn't manage to clinch there - Duderson circles away.
Dude Duderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gomez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gomez showed some decent athleticism there. Gomez is breathing heavily. Gomez prevents Duderson from improving his position. Gomez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomez passes the guard and advances to mount! Duderson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Gomez can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Duderson is looking to escape. Gomez has isolated one of Duderson's arms. Duderson looking to fight him off but Gomez twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
