The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bellfoot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lukapa's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bellfoot won't allow Lukapa to get back to his feet.

Lukapa can't keep his opponent in guard - Bellfoot advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Prince tries to bum rush Clay with a series of wild strikes but Clay uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Clay has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clay there as he acknowledges the shot.
Prince throws a shot from downtown. Clay moves away and avoids it.

Prince lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clay circles away quickly and effectively.
Clay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Prince tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clay was well out of range. Poor timing from Prince.
Prince stuns Clay with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Prince pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Clay back to the cage. Prince follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Prince is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Clay misses the target.

Clay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Prince keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Prince scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Curtis Clay has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Prince rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clay moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A left and a right from Prince both land. Nice combination.
Clay looks to throw the jab but Prince is out of range.
Clay throws a right hand that Prince ducks under and follows up with a left that Prince also avoids with ease.
Clay takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Harvey Prince seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Clay lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Prince has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Prince and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Clay takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Prince drops Clay with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Clay! Prince dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
