Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Foxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Flikflak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Foxx might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eye of the tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Flikflak misses with a wild body shot. Flikflak looks to score with a jab to the body but Foxx is just out of range. Foxx misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Flikflak.
Steve Foxx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foxx tries to close the distance and clinch up but Flikflak swats him away and circles back towards the center. Foxx closes the distance but Flikflak moves to the side and Flikflak counters with a left to the body. Foxx throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Flikflak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foxx manages to avoid it. Flikflak scores with a jab. Foxx acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Foxx tries to clinch there but Flikflak circles away.
Flikflak defending well as Foxx loads up on a big left hand. Flikflak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Foxx throws a hook but Flikflak blocks it. Foxx throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Foxx takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foxx shoots in but Flikflak avoids the takedown attempt easily. Foxx throws a combination that misses and Flikflak counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Foxx's guard now. Foxx is breathing heavily. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flikflak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Foxx keeping full guard, as Flikflak tries to pass. Flikflak passes Foxx's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Flikflak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Still in half guard, Flikflak seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Flikflak might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pedro Flikflak was stalling too much, according to the referee. Flikflak connects with a body shot that sends Foxx's belly button to the back. Flikflak misses with a wild body shot. Foxx keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A shot to the liver by Flikflak. Beautiful body shot. Flikflak ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flikflak throws a shot to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Condoms punishes Jackhammer's body with a nice straight punch. Condoms lands the left hand. Condoms cracks a nice hook into Jackhammer's ribs. The fighters circle momentarily. Condoms darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Condoms scores with a jab to the head.
Condoms fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jackhammer shoots in looking for a takedown but Condoms manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackhammer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Condoms keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Eyehate Condoms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackhammer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A jab from Condoms finds it's way through Jackhammer's defenses. Jackhammer fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Jackhammer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackhammer misses with a takedown attempt - Condoms sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Condoms connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Tim Jackhammer has been cut. Condoms scores with a one two! Jackhammer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A shot to the liver by Condoms. Beautiful body shot. Jackhammer is breathing heavily. Jab by Condoms. Jackhammer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jackhammer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Jackhammer takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Condoms moves into range and connects with a jab. Condoms avoids the head kick by Jackhammer.

Condoms thumps Jackhammer with a low kick. Condoms is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackhammer had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Condoms stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Condoms wants it to stay on the feet. Condoms with a body punch. A glancing blow. Condoms looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Condoms cracks Jackhammer with a good jab. A shot to the liver by Condoms. Beautiful body shot. Jackhammer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Condoms throws a shot to the body.
Condoms works Jackhammer's body with a nice hook. Jackhammer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Condoms jabs Jackhammer to the body, keeping him at a distance. Condoms connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackhammer momentarily.
Condoms lunges at Jackhammer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jackhammer's hand. Condoms scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jackhammer in his tracks. Condoms is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Condoms throws a shot to the body.

Jackhammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Condoms pinned against the cage. Condoms gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A punch lands to the side of Jackhammer 's head but he takes it in his stride. Condoms fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Condoms connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackhammer. Jackhammer circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Condoms works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jackhammer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Condoms tries to avoid it but Jackhammer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Condoms to the ground. Condoms escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Eyehate Condoms is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Condoms cracks Jackhammer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Jackhammer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Condoms throws a monster overhand right that drops Jackhammer! Condoms follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rabi wants to clinch. Rabi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Roars looking for submissions off his back. Rabi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Roars knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rabi tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Rabi wants to work for an arm triangle but Roars is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Roars looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabi postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Roars to stand up. Rabi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roars tries to avoid it but Rabi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roars to the ground. Roars escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rabi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Roars avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Roars trying to control but Rabi is working from the bottom. Roars passes into half guard. Roars is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rabi is just riding it out for now. Roars eventually gives up the hold. Rabi has one foot on Roars's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Rabi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roars is pressing down on Rabi's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rabi wants to control from the top but Roars keeps moving. Rabi throwing strikes but missing. Roars looking to control.

Rabi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. That was a close round but I would say that Gracie Rabi will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Rabi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roars looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roars is looking for a sweep. Rabi tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Roars regains half guard. Roars moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rabi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Roars has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rabi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Roars.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rabi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Rabi throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Rabi tries to score with some ground and pound. Roars controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Rabi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Roars! Roars can't escape the position.
Gracie Rabi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rabi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roars is now in Rabi's guard. A big mistake from Rabi there, giving up the dominant position! Roars drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rabi dives on top into guard.

Roars gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rabi to score an easy takedown into full guard. Roars is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rabi looking to sit in guard and control but Roars gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Roars pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rabi is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roars trying to control but Rabi is working from the bottom. Rabi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roars is aware though and is defending well. Rabi trying to control the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rabi tries to hold on but Roars postures up. Johny Roars has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie Rabi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Roars throwing strikes here but Rabi is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Singh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gray but Gray pushes him off and we're back to square one. Singh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gray paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gray shoots in and gets a takedown into Singh's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gray avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Singh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gray is one step ahead there. Gray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gray pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Singh is keeping the position for now. Gray is in close to Singh's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray landing some decent shots from guard. Gray working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Gray postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gray wants to control from the top but Singh keeps moving. Gray lands a couple of decent looking shots. Singh wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Gray manages to pass to side control. Singh looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gray scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Singh is rocked! Gray works his foot free and advances to mount. Gray loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Singh scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gray land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gray stands and salutes the crowd.
