The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wan tries to bum rush Cephei with a series of wild strikes but Cephei uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cephei closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wan circles away.
Wan stuffs the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Cephei as Wan shoots in.
Wan gets caught napping as Cephei dives in and scores a takedown. Wan manages to retain guard.
Cephei thows a big elbow that misses.
Cephei gets to his feet. Wan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cephei shoots in and bounces Wan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cephei sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wan's guard.
