The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie defending well as Hatton loads up on a big left hand.
Hatton looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.

Hatton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gracie sprawls well initially but Hatton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hatton stands up out of the half guard.
Jeff Hatton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hatton tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.

Barnes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rollin'--Limp Bizkit. Barnes works over John's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Skyy John has been cut.
Barnes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Barnes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with John, pushing him back against the cage.
John is trying to maintain a safe position but Barnes gets an underhook and turns John into the cage.
John seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from John.
John creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Barnes's defenses.

With the fighters up against the cage, John throws an elbow but misses.
John tries a knee to the head but Barnes blocks it.
John with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Barnes connects with a nice cross there... John is looking wobbly and Barnes recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send John to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Barnes jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ferguson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ferguson moves forwards but Edgar connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Edgar gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ferguson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Edgar wants to get back to his feet but Ferguson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
