Harris is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Paned gets his way!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paned trying to control the position but Harris is working away.

Paned wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harris, who protects the arm well. Harris is trying to improve his position. Dwayne Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rj Paned is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Rj Paned showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Paned, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa thows a leg kick but Romo checks it and Romo counters with a low kick, right behind Balboa 's knee. Romo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Balboa throws a nice looking combination but Romo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Romo checks a low kick from Balboa. Balboa misses with a body shot
and Romo counters with a lovely shot to the body. Romo avoids the head kick by Balboa.
Balboa looks to land a combination but Romo avoids it well. Balboa misses with a left hand and Romo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Balboa is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Balboa crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Romo - the referee stops the clock and Balboa gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Romo. Balboa manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Romo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Balboa on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. A slapping leg kick lands for Romo.
A nice inside leg kick there by Romo. That's going to slow Balboa down. Romo throws a nice inside leg kick. Balboa tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Balboa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Romo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Balboa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Romo throws a front kick that sends Balboa stumbling back into the cage. Balboa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Good leg kick by Romo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That kick from Romo tenderised Balboa's leg. Balboa is trying to keep his angry face on. Balboa on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Romo. Romo obviously looking to wear him down.
Romo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Romo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Romo lands with a thumping leg kick.

Romo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Balboa's sensitive parts. Balboa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Balboa closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A good leg kick by Romo. Balboa is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Romo scores with a kick to the body.

and Scalante connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tutan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Scalante counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Rocky Scalante is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tutan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Tutan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tutan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Tutan tries for a takedown but Scalante sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Scalante misses with a looping right. Tutan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Scalante cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That has opened up Kapitan Tutan's cut even more. Tutan closes the distance and clinches up with Scalante, looking for a takedown. Tutan pushes Scalante against the cage but Scalante circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Scalante connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Tutan tries to clinch up and Scalante makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tutan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tutan looks to land a left hand but Scalante moved out of range nicely. Scalante is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Tutan tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Scalante counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tutan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Scalante is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tutan.

The cut above Kapitan Tutan's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Scalante circles away from the clinch attempt and Scalante counters with a right hand to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tutan slips a straight right by Scalante. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Scalante slaps away a takedown attempt from Tutan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tutan wants to clinch and Scalante counters with a nice body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
