Great has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! A momentary lapse in concentration from Great enables Mallao to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Great manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Great looks gassed!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mallao wants to pass the guard but Great is keeping the position.

Great working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mallao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mallao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tulfo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tutan sprawls well initially but Tulfo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tutan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Tulfo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tulfo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Tulfo drops back looking for a leg! Tutan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tutan manages to kick Tulfo off! Tulfo jumps back into Tutan's guard.
Tulfo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tulfo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tulfo is looking to work some ground and pound but Tutan has wrist control.
Tulfo takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

Tulfo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tulfo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tutan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Tulfo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tutan pulls down on the head and he's put Tulfo to sleep! This one is all over!
