Kharitonov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demon tries to avoid it but Kharitonov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demon to the ground. Demon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kharitonov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Demon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kharitonov feints a jab promting Demon to slip. Kharitonov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Demon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bolodenka Kharitonov is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dee Nice!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dada changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nice looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Dada stands up and beckons Nice to his feet.

Nice struggling a bit here.
Dada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dada wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nice, who protects the arm well.
Dada will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dada tries to stand but Nice controls the position and pulls Dada into his guard.

Dada stands up from Nice's guard - Dada perhaps looking for a knockout.

Nice shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nice was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dada wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Dada regains half guard.
Nice is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Dada is looking to improve his position but Nice isn't that keen on the idea.

Nice has hold of Dada's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dada manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nice cracks Dada with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nice looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Dada is rocked!

Dada defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nice.
Oh Dada is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dada is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Nice moves to the back position.
Dada seems to have got his legs back now.

Nice has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Dada has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Dada is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Dada is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Nice off. It looks like it's working - Nice slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Dada displaying calm under pressure there.

Dada is looking to score with low kicks.
Dada throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Nice looks to score with a jab to the body but Dada is just out of range.

Dada bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Nice is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dada pulls his head out easily.

Dada wants to work for an arm triangle but Nice is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nice is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dada is just riding it out for now. Nice eventually gives up the hold.

Nice decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Nice dives in and grabs Dada's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dada pushes down on Nice's head and hops out.

Dada scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Nice has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Dada. Oh but Nice has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Dada goes limp - he's gone! Nice jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
