The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort fails to land with a series of punches.
Baptista gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Braulio Baptista has been cut. Baptista dodges the punch combination from Belfort.
Belfort throws a right hand that Baptista ducks under and follows up with a left that Baptista also avoids with ease. Baptista throws a body punch but Belfort moves out of range. Belfort looks to land a combination. Baptista sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Nice jab there from Baptista. Belfort will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch lands to the side of Baptista 's head but he takes it in his stride. Baptista showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Belfort.
Belfort moves into range and connects with a jab. A shot to the liver by Belfort. Beautiful body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baptista looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Baptista is trying to work for a kimura but Belfort is defending well.
Baptista is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Baptista is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baptista has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Belfort defend it? Baptista steps over the head and cranks it - Belfort is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Baptista!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inhosa catches Tank with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tank shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Inhosa's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Tank lands a couple of decent looking shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tank with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tank stops Inhosa from standing up. Tank must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tank with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tank stops Inhosa from standing up. Tank lands a couple of digs. Tank landing some decent shots from guard. Tank wants to pass the guard but Inhosa is keeping the position. Inhosa seems to have got his legs back now. Tank works over Inhosa with some ground and pound from guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tank with a nice head shot there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tank's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Inhosa has his feet on Tank's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Tank takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tank shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Inhosa defends it nicely. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Inhosa with a nice cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Tank dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A combination from Inhosa does no damage. Inhosa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tank shoots in for a takedown but Inhosa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Inhosa lands with a hook. Tank tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Inhosa tries to sprawl but Tank drives through with a takedown into half guard. Mike Tank has got the better of the ground game so far. Tank not landing any meaningful shots this time. Inhosa looks like he's trying to stand up.
Inhosa has hold of Tank's hands but Tank slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Tank lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Tank stops Inhosa from getting back to his feet.
Tank has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Krawczyk is looking to break free of the clinch but Vendo has double underhooks. Krawczyk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Krawczyk tries to clinch but Vendo is having none of it. Krawczyk fails in his attempt to clinch. Krawczyk looks to clinch and Vendo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Krawczyk is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Vendo advances position into side control! Vendo is trying to get an arm triangle but Krawczyk is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Krawczyk is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Krawczyk tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vendo cranks the arm and Krawczyk screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Krawczyk, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Handerson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Handerson tries to clinch up and Laranja counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Handerson's guard now. Laranja landing some decent shots from guard. Handerson keeping moving, preventing Laranja from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Handerson can do anything to dispel that myth. Laranja prevents Handerson from getting back to his feet. Laranja drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Laranja as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Handerson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Laranja! Nice submission victory there!

Anstoldos looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Haze shoots in for a takedown but Anstoldos shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Haze shoots and misses and Anstoldos counters with a big head kick but Haze shrugs it off. Anstoldos throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Anstoldos pushes Haze up against the cage in a clinch. Anstoldos breaks from the clinch.
Haze blocks a head kick by Anstoldos.
Anstoldos leaves Haze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Purple Haze. That's going to take a lot out of him. A nice leg kick lands there from Anstoldos. Haze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No luck for Haze with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haze tries to clinch but Anstoldos moves out of range. Haze fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Haze with a lazy takedown attempt and Anstoldos counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Haze sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Anstoldos lands a front kick. Haze takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Haze scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are battling for position here. Anstoldos manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Anstoldos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Anstoldos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Haze is one step ahead there. Haze working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Haze throws and elbow that misses. Anstoldos uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Haze's guard. Nice move by Anstoldos! Haze kicks Anstoldos off and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haze tries for a takedown but Anstoldos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Purple Haze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anstoldos tries a head kick but it misses.
Haze shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anstoldos's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anstoldos is on top in guard.
Haze looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Anstoldos passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anstoldos trying to control the position but Haze is working away. Haze is looking to reverse the position. Haze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anstoldos trying to control the action but Haze is working from the bottom. Haze tries to buck Anstoldos off but Anstoldos is having none of it. Haze gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Anstoldos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Haze tries to get back to half guard but can't. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anstoldos looking to finish with strikes here!
Haze tries to hold on but Anstoldos postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Avicus Anstoldos dominated that round. The cut man is working on Purple Haze's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Haze shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Anstoldos counters with a two punch combo. Haze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Anstoldos tries to avoid it but Haze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Anstoldos to the ground. Anstoldos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Anstoldos gets in close and instigates a clinch. Haze has clasped his hands together around Anstoldos's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. You can see the frustration on Anstoldos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Purple Haze overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Haze tries to score with some ground and pound. Anstoldos controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Anstoldos avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Haze. Anstoldos sneaks back into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haze wants to free his trapped foot but Anstoldos is holding on for dear life with his legs. Haze prevents Anstoldos from improving his position. Anstoldos makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Anstoldos. Haze with a flurry of punches that miss. Anstoldos tries to land a sweep but no joy. Anstoldos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Haze throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haze trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Haze accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Haze throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Haze is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Haze wants to control from the top but Anstoldos keeps moving. Anstoldos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haze gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Haze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haze working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Anstoldos's head. Haze is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Haze throwing strikes from guard but Anstoldos blocks nicely. Haze with a flurry of punches that miss. Haze scoring with some ground and pound. Anstoldos is trying to control the position but Haze postures up. Anstoldos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Haze works his way back into a safe position though. Haze with a flurry of punches that miss. Haze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Anstoldos is pulling down on Haze's head. It's preventing any offense from Haze, at least for the moment. Haze wants to control from the top but Anstoldos keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Haze is looking to work some ground and pound but Anstoldos has wrist control. Anstoldos controls Haze momentarily but Haze frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Purple Haze dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Purple Haze's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Haze misses with a takedown attempt and Anstoldos counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Haze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anstoldos cracks the inside of Haze's front leg. Haze has his takedown stuffed and Anstoldos counters with a big head kick but Haze shrugs it off.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Vaber. Shinjo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Shinjo throws a right and a left that both miss. Shinjo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vaber.

Shinjo misses with a body kick. A head kick misses from Vaber. Iuraiah Vaber is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vaber takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maia shoots in but Larente avoids the takedown attempt easily. Larente fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Larente with a lazy takedown attempt and Maia counters with a nice double leg into guard. Maia preventing the sweep.
