1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Maesh! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maesh misses with the combination.
Maesh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gump manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gump scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Maesh pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gump back to the cage. Maesh follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Maesh rushes Gump and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Maesh drags the fight down to the ground.
Gump postures up in Maesh's guard and throws a big left but Maesh blocks it. Gump stays in close to Maesh's body and controls the position. Maesh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gump doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gump manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gump is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maesh keeping full guard, as Gump tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maesh seems a little lost for a moment, as Gump dominates the positioning. Gump wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maesh keeps working. Gump is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Maesh's shoulder. That is not cool. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Maesh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gump can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gump postures up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Maesh throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Gump counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Maesh! Gump looking to control but Maesh is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gump lands a big shot there that rocks Maesh but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Gump is landing with some decent strikes but Maesh is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Maesh tries to lock up and control but Gump gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Gump controlling from mount. Gump pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. BOOM! Gump connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Maesh is looking to get to half guard. Gump controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gump raining down hammerfists from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maesh is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd seem to be enjoying Idea's choice of entrance music: Boss of All Bosses . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Idea shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Idea is in the full mount, landing strikes. Tesser is trying to escape the mount.

Tesser is rocked! Idea looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Tesser covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Movsesian swings away with a leg kick that misses. Movsesian wants to slow Bot down by chopping away at his legs.

Movsesian throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Movsesian takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bot throws a body punch but Movsesian moves out of range. Bot closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A right hand to the body from Bot.
Bot has picked Movsesian up - he's going for a ride! Bot dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bot wants to free his trapped foot but Movsesian is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bot controlling the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Bot has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chestnut slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Perkins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Perkins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Perkins trying to control the action but Chestnut is working from the bottom. Perkins swings around for an armbar but Chestnut sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Perkins's guard. Chestnut wanted to stand there but Perkins had control of the position. Chestnut has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Chestnut got a little sloppy there for a moment and Perkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chestnut has managed to get both his arms back between Perkins's legs - danger averted. Perkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Chestnut tries to stand and escape but Perkins is controlling the position. Perkins works his way to full guard. Good work. Chestnut wants to stand and escape but instead Perkins has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Perkins wants to pass the guard but Chestnut is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perkins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chestnut has his hands on Perkins's head, controlling the position. Perkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Chestnut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Perkins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Perkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chestnut is keeping the position for now. Perkins slips nicely into half guard. Perkins trying to control from half guard but Chestnut is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perkins stalling. Perkins wants to take a breather but Chestnut is having none of it. Chestnut regains full guard. Nicely done. Chestnut is pulling down on Perkins's head to control his posture. Perkins engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Terry Perkins wasn't active enough on the ground. Chestnut lands a leg kick that knocks Perkins off balance momentarily. Perkins looks gassed! Chestnut throws a leg kick but Perkins sees it coming and moves out of range. Chestnut lunges at Perkins with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Perkins's hand.
It looks like Terry Perkins has been cut. Walter Chestnut is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perkins tries to move into range but Chestnut moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Perkins has a takedown stuffed. Chestnut cracks Perkins with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Perkins looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chestnut finish him?
Perkins is rocked! Chestnut lands an uppercut, right on the button! Perkins tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crow has his takedown stuffed and Bader counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Crow fails with the takedown and Bader counters with a shoot takedown. Crow fights it but they end up in guard. Bader drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Crow dives on top into guard. Crow content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Bader has locked up a guillotine! Bader's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Crow is holding on here and Bader must be using up a lot of energy. Crow has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Bader gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strash connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pede's hands. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Strash!
Pede fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strash avoids it really well and circles away. No luck for Pede with that takedown attempt. Avan Strash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strash lands a head shot. Pede gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Strash scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Strash fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Strash thuds a left hand into Pede's body. Strash connects with a body shot that sends Pede's belly button to the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donk. Strash catches Pede right on the button with a cross. Pede shoots in for a double leg but Strash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stan Pede. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pede is breathing heavily. Strash scores with a nice right hand.

Pede tries to keep at a distance but Strash has taken the fight into the clinch. Strash escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pede walks into a jab. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Pede. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Strash sizes up Pede with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Pede walks into a left hand. Strash clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right from Strash on the inside. Strash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Strash's corner calls for a 1-2. Strash obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Strash has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nice body punch from Strash. Strash uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pede has time to react. Strash drops Pede with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pede looks back up at him and smiles so Strash waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pede is rocked! Strash drops Pede with a huge uppercut! Pede drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Strash is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Renton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Corey Cadile has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Renton. Cadile ducks under a wild hook from Renton. Cadile rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Renton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cadile lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

After the fight, Corey Cadile was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things.
