I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Holla If Ya Hear Me!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gotts's choice of entrance music: Godfather Theme. Ray Jones looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rain Hanzo!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanzo fails to land the takedown.
Hanzo misses with a double jab
and Willis counters with a slapping leg kick.

Hanzo looking to score a takedown here. Willis is defending well but Hanzo drives through and ends up in Willis's guard.
Willis wants to sweep here but Hanzo controlling him for the moment.
Hanzo trying to control the position from guard on top but Willis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hanzo is pushing down on Willis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Willis is fighting to maintain full guard but Hanzo has managed to sneak the leg through.

Willis wants to control but Hanzo is keeping busy.

Willis is defending against the submission attempts here by Hanzo.
Hanzo uses his free foot to push down on Willis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Willis.

Hanzo with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Willis avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hanzo.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hanzo is working for a guillotine from mount but Willis frees his head quite easily.

Willis on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Willis tries to get out of the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Willis tries to reverse the position but Hanzo maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hanzo shoots in for a takedown but Willis shows good takedown defense.
Willis tries to work over Hanzo's front leg with a kick but Hanzo checks it.
Willis throws a front kick aimed at Hanzo's knee but Hanzo avoids it well.
Willis tried to score with a low kick but Hanzo checks it.
Hanzo explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hanzo throws a sloppy head kick and Willis moves out of range easily.

Hanzo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Willis sprawls well initially but Hanzo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hanzo controlling the action here.
Hanzo wants to control but Willis is keeping him busy.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hanzo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Willis's head.
Hanzo stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rain Hanzo.
The fighters circle, before Hanzo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Willis's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Hanzo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Rain Hanzo!
