The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Senichev moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Aleksandr Senichev has been cut. Senichev throws a right and a left that both miss. Oooh a lovely combination from Hrenov sends Senichev down but not out. Hrenov dives into side control looking to finish. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hrenov wants to control but Senichev is keeping him busy. Senichev is breathing heavily. Hrenov decides to stand back up. Hrenov steps back and let's Senichev get back to his feet. Hrenov cracks Senichev with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Senichev tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hrenov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Senichev is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alo throws a head kick but Corkran moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Corkran or perhaps it was just good defense by Alo which made him look bad. Corkran misses with a takedown attempt - Alo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Alo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Corkran regains full guard. Nicely done. Alo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Corkran has his foot on Alo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alo works his way back into a safe position though. Corkran wants to sweep here but Alo controlling him for the moment. Alo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Alo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Alo clinches up with Corkran and pushes him back against the ropes. Corkran gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Alo wants to control but Corkran is keeping busy.

Corkran shoots in for a takedown but Alo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Remi Alo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alo slaps away a takedown attempt from Corkran, before circling back to the center of the mat. No joy there for Alo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Corkran cracks Alo with a big right hand but Alo just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Corkran lands a decent elbow from side control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Corkran lands an elbow. Alo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corkran. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Corkran lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Corkran scores with punches from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spat breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Spat gets a double leg takedown into Bix's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Spat stopping the sweep attempt from Bix. Bix keeping full guard, as Spat tries to pass. Spat controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bix throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Spat trying to get back to his feet but Bix is in full control for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spat trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Bix has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Spat has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
