 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Man. No joy for Bill Williams on that attempt. Bill Williams should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Man tries to clinch but Bill Williams moves out of range. Bill Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Man. I think Bill Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

De Vito closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. De Vito is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Shield will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. De Vito throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. De Vito throwing shots but missing, from side control. You can see the frustration on Shield's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. De Vito wants to control but Shield is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Vito working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
De Vito stands up and we're back to a striking position. Shield is looking to clinch.

Shield tries to close the distance and clinch but De Vito swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
De Vito drives through and clinches with Shield against the cage.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
De Vito is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Shield can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Shield is squirming around, avoiding De Vito's attempts to control the action. De Vito punching from mount but Shield doing a good job of avoiding damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. De Vito has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Shield's face.
Shield holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as De Vito tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
De Vito controlling the position easily from mount. De Vito looking to ground and pound but Shield is blocking nicely. De Vito postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Shield in real trouble here! The ref calls for Shield to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caffeine thows a left - swing and a miss! Caffeine throws a half hearted mid kick. Jeetjutsu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Caffeine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jeetjutsu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jeetjutsu wants to clinch up but Caffeine keeps it at a distance. Caffeine fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jeetjutsu manages to avoid it. Caffeine closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jeetjutsu circles away. Caffeine throws a head kick that misses.
Jeetjutsu lands a big head kick that sends Caffeine tumbling to the mat! Jeetjutsu takes a step backwards and waves Caffeine back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Caffeine is rocked!
 It looks like Gaira Caffeine has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Jeetjutsu works Caffeine's body with a nice hook. Oh Caffeine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Caffeine is breathing heavily.
Jeetjutsu rushes Caffeine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Caffeine takes an elbow to the forehead.
 Gaira Caffeine's cut is getting worse.
Jeetjutsu jumps guard and drags Caffeine to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jeetjutsu scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Caffeine seems to have got his legs back now. Caffeine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jeetjutsu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jeetjutsu lands a huge takedown. Caffeine is out but the ref is slow to react and Jeetjutsu lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Caffeine lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siqueira Campos misses with a wild body shot. Walters throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Siqueira Campos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Walters counters with a left and a right that stings Siqueira Campos. Siqueira Campos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walters tries to avoid it but Siqueira Campos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walters to the ground. Walters escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Siqueira Campos just misses with a punch to the body.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Matrix! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gore has a takedown stuffed.
Matrix gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Matrix breaks from the clinch.
Matrix misses with a looping right.
Gore lands a big shot that drops Matrix! Can he finish him?
 It looks like John Matrix has been cut. Gore won't allow Matrix to sweep him here. Gore postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
 Matrix is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matrix wants to sweep but no luck. Gore is fighting to break Matrix's control of his arms but Matrix is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Matrix is trying to keep Gore in close.
Gore in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gore throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Matrix works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Matrix keeping moving, preventing Gore from controlling successfully.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Matrix avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Matrix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gore throwing strikes from guard but Matrix blocks nicely. Gore postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gore stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Matrix swivels though and keeps the full guard. Matrix avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gore postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gore postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Matrix is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gore missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Matrix can do anything to dispel that myth.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Matrix keeping moving, preventing Gore from controlling successfully. Gore loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gore trying to control but Matrix is working from the bottom. Gore trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gore wants to control from the top but Matrix keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Matrix avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Matrix looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gore is one step ahead there. Gore trying to control the position from guard on top but Matrix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 We're going to have a standup here because Kutchek Gore wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A slow jab from Matrix misses its intended target.
Gore gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A head punch on the inside from Matrix fails to land. Gore goes for a takedown in the clinch but Matrix prevents it.
Gore makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Matrix lands a body shot. Gore digs a right hand into Matrix's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Matrix's gas tank. Gore misses with a body punch.
A nice left hand lands by Matrix.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gore tries to free his leg and advance position but Matrix is retaining full guard. Gore lands a couple of digs. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matrix can't keep his opponent in guard - Gore advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Gore throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Kutchek Gore dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Matrix's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Matrix misses the jab. Matrix lands with a cross. Matrix fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Matrix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gore scores with a takedown into Matrix's guard. Matrix looking for a sweep. Not yet Matrix, not yet. Gore stays in close to Matrix's body and controls the position. Gore postures up.
Gore prevents Matrix from getting back to his feet. Gore content to stall in guard here.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Matrix cracks Gore with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Matrix lands with a cross. Gore uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Matrix. Matrix is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gore. The fight stays on the outside here - Matrix looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gore keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Matrix. Matrix tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Matrix takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Matrix is breathing heavily.
Gore closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Matrix avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gore. Matrix takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kutchek Gore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gore in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Gore is chipping away with strikes.
Matrix is still in real trouble! Can Gore finish him? Gore scoring with punches and elbows.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Matrix is trying to control Gore's posture but Gore avoids it. Gore throws a strike aimed at the side of Matrix's head but Matrix avoids it well. Gore controls the position from side control. Matrix seems to have recovered his senses. Matrix managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Gore.
Matrix is looking to regain half guard here but Gore keeps moving and retains side control. Matrix on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Matrix takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Gore controlling from side mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gore sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Matrix is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gore taking a breather here. Matrix is trying to get back to half guard. Gore working the ground and pound. Matrix managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Gore.
Matrix takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Gore crunches a massive hammerfist down on Matrix - he's out! Gore Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
