The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCardle clinches up with Salek and pushes him back against the cage.
McCardle is looking to break free of the clinch but Salek has double underhooks.
McCardle jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Salek walks away with a smile on his face. McCardle gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
McCardle shoots in looking for a takedown but Salek manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McCardle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
McCardle shoots in for a double leg but Salek sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gaff looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Rampage Gaff has been cut.
Blok shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gaff eats them both and turns towards Blok to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Blok has knocked Gaff down with a huge combo! Blok steps away and waves a wobbly Gaff back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Blok lands a jab.

The cut above Rampage Gaff's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
BOOM! Blok lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gaff. Gaff tries to recover but Blok is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gaff lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Norris gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
