1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pysiu Reja! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reja rushes Coolguy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Reja pulls guard successfully.
Reja looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coolguy is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reja is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Reja avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Reja trying to keep a closed guard but Coolguy is proving a slippery customer.
Coolguy looking to sit in guard and control but Reja gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Coolguy working a defensive guard here.
Reja must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reja wants to pass the guard but Coolguy is keeping the position. Reja drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Coolguy dives on top into guard. Coolguy wants to stand and escape but instead Reja has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Coolguy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Coolguy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Coolguy pushes Reja off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Reja clinches up with Coolguy and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coolguy decides to pull guard. Reja trying to control but Coolguy is working from the bottom. Reja stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coolguy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reja trying to control the position from guard on top but Coolguy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Reja is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coolguy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coolguy has escaped and now he's on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reja keeping moving, preventing Coolguy from controlling successfully. Reja controls Coolguy momentarily but Coolguy frees himself. Coolguy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Reja is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Reja might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coolguy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pysiu Reja will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coolguy is defended easily by Reja. Coolguy is looking to clinch. Reja drives through with a takedown into Coolguy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Coolguy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Coolguy keeping moving, preventing Reja from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pysiu Reja has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Reja throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Reja. Reja shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Coolguy manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Coolguy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Coolguy controls Reja momentarily but Reja frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reja is looking to advance position but Coolguy has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Reja keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Pysiu Reja has got the better of the ground game so far. Coolguy goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Reja turns into him and now he's in Coolguy's guard.
Reja postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coolguy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Coolguy working a defensive guard here.
Coolguy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Reja has picked Coolguy up and slammed him! Coolguy can't keep hold of the triangle and Reja manages to pass to side control! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reja content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Reja is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Coolguy has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coolguy sneaks back into half guard. Reja sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Coolguy defending well though. Coolguy wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pysiu Reja showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Reja instigates a clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Coolguy. Coolguy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reja smiles and moves away.
Reja is looking to slow Coolguy down with leg kicks. Reja drives through and clinches with Coolguy against the cage.
Reja is trying to break free. Reja manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Coolguy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Coolguy postures up in Reja's guard and throws a big left but Reja blocks it. Reja wants to sweep but no luck. Coolguy scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coolguy trying to control the position from guard on top but Reja is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reja lands an upkick as Coolguy stands over him. Reja is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Coolguy lands a couple of digs. Coolguy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Reja looking for a sweep. Not yet Reja, not yet. Coolguy wants to control from the top but Reja keeps moving. Coolguy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Reja working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coolguy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coolguy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Reja takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Reja keeping moving, preventing Coolguy from controlling successfully. Reja wants to improve his position but instead Coolguy has moved into half guard.
Coolguy not landing any meaningful shots this time. Coolguy throwing shots but Reja is blocking nicely. Reja trying to hold on to Coolguy's head to control him but Coolguy postures up.
Coolguy is looking for a kimura here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coolguy thows a huge punch but Reja dodges it nicely.
Coolguy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Reja defends it well. Reja trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Coolguy manages to pass to mount!
Coolguy avoids the attempt from Reja to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coolguy scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cris Coolguy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Coolguy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Coolguy is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reja is surviving well by controlling Coolguy's body position as best he can. Reja tries to lock up and control but Coolguy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Reja is working to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reja tries to hold on but Coolguy pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cris Coolguy. I think Reja has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alfonso throws a head kick that Grabowski semi-blocks.
Alfonso misses with a body kick. Alfonso takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Alfonso tries to close the distance and clinch but Grabowski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Alfonso tries to move into range but Grabowski moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Grabowski keeps the fight on the outside. Grabowski throws a jab when Alfonso was well out of range. Alfonso throws a head kick that misses. Grabowski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Alfonso misses with a head kick.
Alfonso lets loose with a powerful body kick. Grabowski will feel that in the morning. Alfonso throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Alfonso wants to clinch up but Grabowski keeps it at a distance. Alfonso tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Grabowski throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alfonso shoots in but Grabowski avoids the takedown attempt easily. Alfonso drives through and clinches with Grabowski against the cage.
Alfonso tries a knee to the head but Grabowski blocks it.
Grabowski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Alfonso breaks from the clinch.

It looks like Joao Alfonso has been cut. Alfonso tries to close the distance and clinch but Grabowski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Grabowski gets off balance looking for a body kick and Alfonso counters by clinching up. Alfonso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Alfonso looks gassed! Grabowski throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Alfonso tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A right-left combo lands from Grabowski. Alfonso misses with a double jab.
Grabowski thuds his right hand into Alfonso's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Alfonso shoots in and drives through. Grabowski sprawls well. Alfonso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grabowski tries to avoid it but Alfonso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grabowski to the ground. Grabowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Borys Grabowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Alfonso. Grabowski pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Alfonso back to the cage. Grabowski follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Alfonso throws a left and a right that both miss
and Grabowski counters with a right hand to the body. Grabowski thuds his right hand into Alfonso's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Grabowski sizes up Alfonso with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Alfonso is rocked! Grabowski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alfonso backs up against the cage.
Alfonso is still on wobbly legs! Can Grabowski finish him? Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Grabowski, as that shot connected.
Grabowski bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alfonso's head backwards. Grabowski throws a wild body kick that Alfonso sees coming a mile off. Grabowski looking to land some kicks to the body here.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ryan wants to pass the guard but Koster is keeping the position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Oliveira sitting in guard, not really doing much. Let's hope that Oliveira has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Oliveira in full guard, throwing the ground and pound.
