Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rob Torry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Viktor Bellic!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torry avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Torry fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice straight punches there by Torry. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Torry.

Bellic lands a left and a right that send Torry crashing to the mat, dazed. Bellic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Rob Torry has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Torry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bellic's waist but Bellic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Torry off to one side.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Bellic has his foot on Torry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Torry works his way back into a safe position though.
Torry sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bellic's guard.

Torry's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rob Torry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bellic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Torry defends it easily.
