The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klichkov drives through and clinches with Back against the cage.

A telegraphed right hand from Back misses the target. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Back in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Klichkov loads up on a big right hand but Back slips the punch.

Back stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Back throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Back throws a lazy right hand but Klichkov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Back moves out of range as Klichkov strikes. Klichkov misses with a wild body shot. Klichkov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Back throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Klichkov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Klichkov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Klichkov slips under a jab. A jab from Back does it's job there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klichkov clobbers Back with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Klichkov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Back takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Back is rocked! Back slips a straight right by Klichkov. Back is still on wobbly legs! Can Klichkov finish him? Klichkov looks to throw the jab but Back is out of range. A telegraphed right hand from Klichkov misses the target. Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Klichkov moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Back! Klichkov continues to tee off on Back, landing with a left and a right! Klichkov connects with a right hand that leaves Back sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Klichkov!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Field gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Field takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mendoza with a nice cross. Field jabs at Mendoza's body. Mendoza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Field slips a jab and a cross from Mendoza.

Field can't keep his opponent in guard - Mendoza advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mendoza is looking to advance position but Field won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Field is looking to control Mendoza's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Field avoid being mounted? Mendoza wants to work for an arm triangle but Field is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Errol Field. That's going to take a lot out of him. Field tries for a takedown but Mendoza circles away easily and Mendoza counters with a stiff right hand. Field showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mendoza.
Mendoza is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Field tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mendoza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Field somewhat. Mendoza scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Field doesn't seem bothered though. Field is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mendoza. Mendoza's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mendoza duly obliges. Mendoza swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Field.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mendoza slaps away a takedown attempt from Field, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mike Mendoza seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mendoza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Field moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mendoza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Field circles away quickly and effectively. Mendoza has managed to clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mendoza lands with a short head shot on the inside. Field blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Mike Mendoza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mendoza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mendoza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Field is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Field takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Field dives in and grabs Mendoza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mendoza pushes down on Field's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Errol Field. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mendoza throws out a loose jab but Field uses good head movement to avoid it. Field shoots in for a takedown but Mendoza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mendoza drives through and clinches with Field against the cage.

Mendoza lands a right hand. Mendoza lands with a short shot to the head. Field changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mendoza fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mendoza lands with a shot to the body. Errol Field has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mendoza lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mendoza throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Field. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Field misses with a takedown attempt letting Mendoza counter with a right hand. Mike Mendoza is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mendoza looks to land a combination but Field avoids it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Mendoza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mendoza winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lannister gets caught napping as Lil I dives in and scores a takedown. Lannister manages to retain guard. Lil I tries to free his leg and advance position but Lannister is retaining full guard. Lil I won't allow Lannister to get back to his feet. Lil I showing good wrestling skills to control the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Lil I has control of Lannister's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lannister regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lil I sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lil I lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Lannister is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lil I unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Lannister wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Lil I celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Shurk slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Shurk pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch. Gracie lands on the inside with an uppercut. Shurk stalls. Shurk lands a body punch. The referee is keeping an eye on Shurk - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Shurk lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Shurk lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gracie. Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gracie looks gassed! Shurk lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gracie or not. A short right hand to the side of the head by Shurk. Shurk dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Shurk.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shurk working some nice short punches in the clinch. Nice body punch from Shurk. Shurk scores with an uppercut up the middle. A right hook to the body lands for Shurk.
Shurk gets through Gracie's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Gracie is rocked! Shurk lands a nice shot to the body. Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Shurk finish him? Shurk digs a right hand underneath Gracie's ribcage. Gracie let out a lung full of air as it connected. This has been an exciting period of action! Shurk lands with a short shot to the head. Shurk softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Shurk. Shurk works on Gracie's body with a couple of short punches. A right hand to the body from Shurk.
Shurk creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Gracie's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Gracie drops to his knees and Shurk pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shawn Shurk! In his post fight interview, Shawn Shurk started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sovan passes into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drewnski looks like he's trying to stand up.

Drewnski wants to stand and escape but Sovan is having none of it. Sovan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sovan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Drewnski is looking to stand up but Sovan isn't so interested in that idea. Sovan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sovan trying to control but Drewnski is working from the bottom. Sovan lands a couple of decent looking shots. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drewnski can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sovan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drewnski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sovan is controlling him.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocco Campana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Orakpo! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Campana. A shot to the liver by Campana. Beautiful body shot. Orakpo slips a jab and a cross from Campana.
Campana thuds a left hand into Orakpo's body. Campana will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Campana throws a sloppy head kick and Orakpo moves out of range easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Campana throws a nice outside leg kick. Orakpo looks gassed! Campana jabs at Orakpo's body. Orakpo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Brian Orakpo has been cut. Campana lands a right hook to the body.
Orakpo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Orakpo steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Campana. That one must have hurt. Campana thuds his shin into the meat of Orakpo's side.
That's one minute gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Campana. Campana throws a front kick that sends Orakpo stumbling back into the cage. A head kick lands from Campana that sends Orakpo to the canvas. Orakpo tries to scramble back to his feet but Campana brings him back down into side control.

That has opened up Brian Orakpo's cut even more. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Orakpo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Orakpo is still in real trouble! Can Campana finish him? Campana in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Orakpo is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
