Alexander Burenko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Well Burenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

I think Cifi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You can´t stop me now . Esmir Cifi looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Quadi is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cifi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Quadi's body to avoid the submission. Quadi has instead reached around Cifi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Quadi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Delerone is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Maoa doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Delerone crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Delerone's bad books for that mishap!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Petrea crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yzagoev - the referee stops the clock and Petrea gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yzagoev. Petrea manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Yzagoev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sebastian Petrea seems to be getting the better of the standup.
No joy there for Petrea, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
