The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Perez. No joy for Madadi on that attempt. Madadi moves to clinch but Perez breaks away and Perez counters with a good low kick that Madadi was not able to check. Perez moves into the clinch successfully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loco dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cross on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Loco connects with a leg kick. Cross looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Cross is breathing heavily. Cross chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Loco can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cross takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Loco feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cross sprawling to the canvas! Cross rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Loco finish him?!
Cross is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Loco engages and cracks Cross with a massive lead left hook - Cross tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Loco is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Del Santo has momentary wrist control but Dumile slips an elbow through the middle. Dumile with a nice head shot there. Dumile postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dumile content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
