Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Gracia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dexter comes to the cage accompanied by The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter. Gracia has chosen The Last Fight as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jose Gracia will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Dexter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Gracia! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dexter fails with a takedown attempt. Gracia tries to clinch there but Dexter circles away.
Gracia is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dexter circles away from the clinch attempt and Dexter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dexter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gracia is in trouble now - Dexter has advanced to mount! Dexter throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Dexter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gracia to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gracia shrugs it off. Dexter trying to control but he's not successful this time. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dexter scoring with strikes but Gracia is staying in there.

Dexter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracia is looking to escape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gracia can do anything to dispel that myth. Dexter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Gracia is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gracia manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Dexter wants to finish this one by submission but Gracia is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dexter. Dexter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dexter punching from mount but Gracia doing a good job of avoiding damage. Dexter misses with a head shot. Dexter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Dexter throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Dexter throwing strikes here but Gracia is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Dexter raining down hammerfists from mount. Gracia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dexter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dexter jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gracia manages to avoid the submission attempt. Dexter misses with an attempted head punch from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnes closes the distance and clinches up with Bracha, looking for a takedown. Barnes pushes Bracha against the cage but Bracha circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bracha attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Barnes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bracha connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bracha tries a head kick but it misses.
Eli Bracha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bracha throws a head kick that misses. Barnes lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bracha pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Barnes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bracha tries to avoid it but Barnes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bracha to the ground. Bracha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Barnes shoots for a takedown but Bracha saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Eli Bracha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Binky Barnes. Barnes moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Barnes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bracha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Barnes thows a big elbow that misses. Barnes showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bracha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barnes on the ground. Barnes with a nice head shot there. Barnes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Barnes scoring with some ground and pound.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Binky Barnes hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Barnes shoots in for a takedown but Bracha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bracha throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bracha misses the shot to the body. Bracha does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Bracha throws a sloppy head kick and Barnes moves out of range easily. Barnes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bracha swivels and escapes. Barnes works the jab nicely. Bracha lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Barnes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bracha sprawls well. Bracha wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barnes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bracha circles away. Bracha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cooper King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King wants to clinch but Walker slips to the side and Walker counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Cooper King has been cut. King keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Walker. King has a takedown stuffed. King rushes Walker and presses him up against the cage. Walker with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Walker throws a jab but it's blocked by King. Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. King wants to clinch and Walker counters with a body kick that stops King in his tracks momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King throws a head kick that misses and Walker counters with a straight punch to the midsection. King looks to clinch and Walker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. King looks gassed! King misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
