The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cadell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Warhawk looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Cadell slowing the pace effectively. Cadell jumps into guard, dragging Warhawk to the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cadell is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Warhawk frees his head nicely. Oh but Cadell has switched to an armbar! Warhawk is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wandinho on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Egan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Wandinho is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Egan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Wandinho to see if he's OK. Egan is looking for a kimura. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendoza keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hull shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mendoza counters with a slapping leg kick. Hull circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mendoza tries to clinch but Hull is having none of it. Hull avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hull shoots and misses and Mendoza counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hull's knee momentarily. Peter Mendoza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Hull. Mendoza leaves Hull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hull tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hull looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendoza darts in and clinches Hull up against the cage. Hull tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mendoza just stands there and leans against the cage. Hull wants to take the fight to the mat but Mendoza manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Mendoza stalling against the cage.
Mendoza lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Mendoza comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Matt Hull has been cut. Mendoza just leaning against Hull, taking a breather. Hull turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Hull is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mendoza has escaped the position, nice work there. Hull goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mendoza rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hull's guard! Nice work there by Mendoza!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Mendoza trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hull's guard. Hull will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Mendoza would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hull wants to sweep here but Mendoza controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hull is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hull is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Mendoza is surviving well by controlling Hull's body position as best he can. Hull lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. This has been an exciting period of action! Hull moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mendoza has worked his arm free - good work by Mendoza!
Hull wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mendoza, who protects the arm well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hull scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mendoza to see if he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Hull's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Mendoza pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Hull! Mendoza unloads with more strikes and Hull sinks to his knees! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matrix keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Machado. Nice shot lands for Machado. Matrix scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Machado throws a lazy uppercut
and Matrix counters with a crisp right hand that drops Machado! Matrix lets Machado back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Machado is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matrix lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Machado up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Matrix from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Machado's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Watson connects with a body shot. Watson throws a hook but Rojo avoids it easily. Rojo looks for a takedown but Watson sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Poncho Rojo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice jab there from Watson. Rojo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Watson lands a jab to the nose.

LePew is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. LePew on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gein. Gein obviously looking to wear him down.
Ed Gein seems to be getting the better of the standup. LePew moves forwards but Gein connects with a nice, crisp jab. Gein throws a nice inside leg kick. The fighters circle, before Gein throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into LePew's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gein lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
