Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cody Moser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward has chosen Can't Be Touched as his entrance music. Cody Moser had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Chris Ward told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ward throws a one two combo.

Moser closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moser lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ward is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moser wants to pass the guard but Ward is keeping the position.
Ward looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Ward escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moser gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

No joy there for Ward, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ward connects with a single shot there.
Ward cracks Moser with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

A left and a right from Ward both land. Nice combination.
Ward lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ward rushes Moser with punches - Moser moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Moser goes down! Ward follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
