Tam feints a jab promting Rua to slip. Tam then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rua slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Tam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rua throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tam displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rua.
Tam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rua displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tam throws out the jab.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Rua gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Rua apologises and we restart here on the feet.
