Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melora McKay! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKay fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stewart, pushing him back against the cage. McKay turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! McKay misses with the ground and pound. The strikes coming from McKay are missing the target in this wave of attacks. McKay sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Stewart is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Sloppy strikes there by McKay. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stewart is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McKay is controlling him well. McKay tries to score with some ground and pound. Stewart controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Stewart managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by McKay.
Stewart parries the strikes from McKay easily there. McKay is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stewart to escape.
McKay misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
McKay connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Stewart some visible discomfort.
The ground and pound from McKay seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McKay is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stewart's shoulder. That is not cool. An elbow from McKay crashes against the mat.
McKay working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stewart is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. McKay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McKay swings around for an armbar but Stewart sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McKay's guard. McKay has his foot on Stewart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stewart works his way back into a safe position though. McKay working for a triangle but Stewart defends it easily.
McKay is pulling down on Stewart's head. It's preventing any offense from Stewart, at least for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McKay is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McKay has his foot on Stewart's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stewart works his way back into a safe position though. Stewart postures up.
McKay is controlling Stewart's posture. This has been an exciting period of action! Stewart trying to stand up but can't free himself from McKay's guard. McKay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stewart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stewart avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McKay is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKay postures up in Stewart's guard and throws a big left but Stewart blocks it. McKay keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Stewart's head. McKay is looking to work some ground and pound but Stewart has wrist control. McKay postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Stewart avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. McKay throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stewart is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stewart working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McKay. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McKay in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McKay slips nicely into half guard. McKay thows a huge punch but Stewart dodges it nicely.

McKay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McKay manages to end up in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McKay creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. McKay throws an elbow but Stewart slips to the side and avoids it well. McKay is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. McKay lands a nice forearm strike.

McKay is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stewart is surviving well by controlling McKay's body position as best he can. BOOM! McKay connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McKay misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
McKay cracks Stewart with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McKay cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Stewart is bucking up trying to escape but McKay cracks him with another couple of good strikes. McKay throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Stewart because McKay loaded up on that one. Stewart is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Melora McKay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

McKay takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. McKay passes the guard and advances to mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily. McKay bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stewart's guard. McKay is working the ground and pound from guard. Stewart working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McKay. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McKay sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stewart's guard. McKay is nestled in close to Stewart, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Melora McKay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. McKay controlling the action here. Stewart wants to get back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McKay with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Melora McKay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McKay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. It looks like Raptor Jesus has been cut. Danga de danga de dang - Jesus scores with a four punch combination! Kilter fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jesus checks it well. Kilter attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Jesus sizes up Kilter with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Leo Kilter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kilter throws a chopping leg kick but Jesus manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kilter needs to keep his hands up - Jesus had a free shot at his head there. Jesus scores with a hook to the body. Kilter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jesus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kilter.

Jesus moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jesus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kilter drops his hands momentarily and Jesus takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Some wild striking there from Kilter.

Jesus lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Jesus moves out of range of the leg kick from Kilter. Kilter misses with a double jab.

Leo Kilter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A lazy left from Jesus finds it's target. Kilter looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Kilter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kilter misses with a double jab.

Kilter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Kilter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jesus counters with a stiff right hand. Raptor Jesus seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kilter misses with a low kick.

Jesus plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Kilter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kilter throws a leg kick but Jesus checks it. Jesus scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kilter in his tracks. Jesus feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kilters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jesus stalks Kilter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kilter's face. Kilter staggers backwards, shaken. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kilter with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jesus to score with a decent uppercut. Kilter throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

A close second round but Raptor Jesus will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Raptor Jesus's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nabakenya ducks right into an uppercut from Goodson. Bobby Goodson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nabakenya slips a straight right by Goodson. Nabakenya shoots in for a double leg but Goodson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nabakenya closes this distance looking for a takedown but Goodson circles away. Nabakenya takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gyver throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Furcal blocks it with crossed arms. Gyver lands a good knee to the midsection. Furcal won't want to take too many of those. Furcal's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Furcal fails with a takedown attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Furcal. Furcal blocks a jab. Gyver tries to clinch up but Furcal circles away and keeps his distance. Gyver connects with a jab. Furcal swats away the attempt to clinch by Gyver. Gyver tries to clinch up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rotberg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rotberg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. David throws a solid leg kick but Lindstroem takes the impact on his shin and smiles at David. Lindstroem feints and then cracks David's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow David down. Lindstroem throws a head kick that misses. Lindstroem tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A slapping leg kick lands for Lindstroem.
David is breathing heavily. Lindstroem attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Lindstroem dodges the punch combination from David.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lindstroem crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from David - the referee stops the clock and Lindstroem gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says David. Lindstroem manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Soeren Lindstroem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. David throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
