Kovrov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fuckwell.
Fuckwell misses with a head kick.
Fuckwell lands with a kick to the temple. Kovrov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fuckwell throws a chopping leg kick but Kovrov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kovrov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Kovrov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Fuckwell takes the fight into the clinch.
Fuckwell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fuckwell throws a head kick but Kovrov moves out of range.
Kovrov has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Fuckwell.
Fuckwell tries to clinch there but Kovrov circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oh Fuckwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fuckwell drops his hands momentarily. Kovrov doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Fuckwell staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Fuckwell doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

A determined Alexsandr Kovrov didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
