 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matice looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Winters! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Winters is in a horrible position here. Matice smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Matice lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Winters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Matice. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Matice controlling from the full mount. Winters is desperately trying to improve his position but Matice has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Winters is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. A nice elbow there by Matice. Matice with shots to the head and body - Winters looks very uncomfortable down there.
 Winters is rocked! Matice cracks Winters with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nakkeli manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nakkeli scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
 It looks like Stu Mercer has been cut. Mercer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nakkeli is out of range. Mercer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nakkeli lands a really nice looking cross but Mercer seems unphased.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mercer takes a body punch but keeps moving. Mercer connects with a high kick. Nakkeli checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mercer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mercer, right into the meat.
Mercer fails in his attempt to clinch. Mercer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nakkeli stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mercer. Mercer throws a leg kick which misses Nakkeli's front leg but catches the back leg as Nakkeli tries to avoid it. Nakkeli misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mercer.
Nakkeli lands a nice shot to the body.

Nakkeli gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nakkeli is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mercer tries to land a knee to the head but Nakkeli blocks with his arms.
Mercer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nakkeli blocks it with crossed arms. Nakkeli tries to circle away but Mercer has him pinned against the cage. A knee to the head by Mercer.

Nakkeli is looking to break free of the clinch but Mercer has double underhooks.
Nakkeli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nakkeli misses with a right hand and Mercer counters with a body kick. A thudding body kick lands there by Mercer!
Mercer tries to clinch but Nakkeli moves out of range. Nakkeli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mercer but Mercer pushes him off and we're back to square one. Mercer tries to clinch up. Nakkeli checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Nakkeli shoots in looking for a takedown but Mercer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nakkeli's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mercer looks to score with a jab to the body but Nakkeli is just out of range. Nakkeli waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mercer. Mercer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mercer moves into the clinch. Nakkeli is looking to break free of the clinch but Mercer has double underhooks. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nakkeli's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mercer clinches up with Nakkeli and pushes him back against the cage. Nakkeli wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mercer has him pressed against the cage. Mercer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Mercer lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Mercer pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Nakkeli wants to break the clinch but can't.

This has been an exciting period of action! Nakkeli is trying to break the clinch but Mercer is controlling him. Nakkeli is trying to break the clinch but Mercer has him pressed against the cage. Mercer misses with a knee strike.
Mercer is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A nice glancing elbow lands by Mercer. Nakkeli wants to break free but Mercer has control.
Mercer is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Mercer has Nakkeli pressed against the cage, preventing Nakkeli from circling away and getting back to striking at range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nakkeli has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Mercer working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Niko Nakkeli will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

 Nakkeli is rocked! Mercer throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Nakkeli crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

After the fight, Stu Mercer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Routalempi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Routalempi throws a head kick that misses. Vilkastus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Routalempi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vilkastus somewhat. Routalempi lands a jab-cross combination.

Routalempi moves into the clinch. Vilkastus blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Vilkastus passes Routalempi's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Cohen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Spico was well out of range. Poor timing from Cohen. Cohen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Spico leaves Cohen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Spico lands a body punch. Spico is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Nice body punch from Spico - that landed with a thud.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Spico screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cieniutowski misses with a few strikes there.
Cieniutowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Garcie gets caught flat footed, as Cieniutowski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cieniutowski preventing the sweep. Garcie is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Garcie has a closed guard, preventing Cieniutowski from standing up. Cieniutowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Garcie pulls Cieniutowski in close to his closed guard and prevents Cieniutowski from doing any damage or advancing position. Garcie throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Garcie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Cieniutowski misses with a double jab.
Cieniutowski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garcie swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cieniutowski throws a right and a left that Garcie avoids nicely. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. This has been an exciting period of action!

Garcie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cieniutowski defends it well. Garcie works his foot free and advances to mount. Garcie wants to take Cieniutowski's back but he can't do it this time. Cieniutowski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcie on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Garcie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cieniutowski is now in Garcie's guard. A big mistake from Garcie there, giving up the dominant position! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Royce Garcie will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cieniutowski tries to stand and escape but Garcie is controlling the position. Cieniutowski trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Garcie is looking to improve his position.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cieniutowski misses with the combination.

Cieniutowski misses with a wild combination.
Cieniutowski throws a right and a left that Garcie avoids nicely. Cieniutowski lands with a big left! Garcie is wobbled badly! Cieniutowski comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Garcie to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Wojtek Cieniutowski! Wojtek Cieniutowski is the new bantamweight champion! Wojtek Cieniutowski decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fratibi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fratibi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fratibi throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely. James throws a sloppy head kick and Fratibi moves out of range easily. Fratibi looks to land a combination but James avoids it well. Fratibi pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A solid body kick from James. Fratibi moves out of range of the body kick. James fails with a takedown attempt from distance. James takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
James fakes the leg kick and cracks Fratibi in the body. James tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. James jabs at Fratibi's body. James slips under a jab from Fratibi. Fratibi misses the shot to the body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fratibi tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fratibi to the ground. Fratibi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fratibi's guard. James is pressing down on Fratibi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fratibi is holding on for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fratibi. Fratibi jabs James right on the nose. James blinks but takes it well. Fratibi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takahashi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around gold chin's waist but gold chin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takahashi off to one side. Nice jab there from gold chin. No luck with that takedown attempt from Takahashi.
gold chin sends Takahashi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! gold chin is motioning to the referee to let Takahashi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 Takahashi is rocked! gold chin finds Takahashi's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Takahashi flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. gold chin lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Takahashi will be OK.
